The Fullerton Hotel Sydney

I was looking forward to staying here as I love heritage hotels. Unfortunately, the heritage stops as soon as you come in. The exterior is beautiful but the interior is modern. The rooms are quite bland and lack character. Fair enough - taste is different. However the following should not be the case in a 5 star hotel: 1) Half drunk bottle of water from previous occupant in my minibar 2) no international sockets, no adapter in the room 3) everything was charged to my card before I even checked out, which lead to the need for reversals as part of my trip was personal and had to be charged to a different card 4) I was overcharged on a minibar item post checkout, but the hotel is ignoring my email requests for a refund I won’t be staying again.

Great location, convenient to the CBD, shops, restaurants and transport. Room was comfortable and functional. Fitness centre was well equipped and not very crowded!

This was my first time staying at the Fullerton Sydney. I loved the location, the beautiful building. All the staff were very helpful. Checkin and checkout was quick and easy. The room was very comfortable and clean. I will be re-booking.

The hotel is beautiful with lovely rooms and great amenities. A pleasure to stay there. But it’s the staff that make this hotel stand out. From the laundry staff behind the scenes to the front of house people like Minyoung and even the General Manager, these people can’t do enough to make you feel important. Congratulations to the GM. The staff react to customers as if he was ever present. He has chosen and trained people very well. And it was not beyond him to personally dealt with a minor issue really quickly. Staff make the difference bw a good hotel and the very best hotels. Hotel Fullerton is exceptional.

Everything about this hotel is lovely, helpful staff and great food. I'm glad that I chose this hotel to stay in during my birthday.
