A wonderful stay - the staff are so helpful and go above and beyond. Great food, gorgeous rooftop bar, and clean, luxurious rooms. I won’t stay anywhere else in Sydney now.

A Wonderful Sydney Stay: Outstanding Service and Ideal Location at the InterContinental.
I always choose the Sydney InterContinental whenever I visit Sydney, and for good reason. This hotel consistently delivers an outstanding experience on every front. The food is simply excellent, and the breakfast is honestly among the best I’ve ever had. The rooms are equally impressive—always spotless, very comfortable, and offering great views. The service is top-notch, with staff who are incredibly courteous and always make you feel welcome. In particular, I want to highlight the breakfast team—Karem, Sanskriti, and Ben—who made each morning a delight with their warm and attentive service. One of the best parts about the Sydney InterContinental is its unbeatable location. It’s within walking distance of the Sydney Opera House, the beautiful Royal Botanic Garden, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, St. Mary’s Cathedral, and the Queen Victoria Building. You can easily explore some of Sydney’s most iconic spots just by stepping outside the hotel. Overall, it’s my go-to hotel in Sydney for a reason. Highly recommended!

very nice hotel. great rooms. nice service. generally very comfortable hotel. only weak spot is the restaurant. breakfast buffet not particularly impressive.

Quick weekend getaway
Our stay at the Intercontinental Sydney was fantastic. The check in experience was very good and as a member we were upgraded unexpectedly which was nice. The in-room dining and breakfast in the Conservatory was good, food good quality and service very attentive. Special mention to Sonu who looked after us throughout our stay.

Sonu is amazing.
It was fantastic the service was great and quick. The staff were great nice and very helpful. After ordering to our room 2-4 times Sonu kept coming up to the 22nd floor and she was great about it. Great experience with intercontinental Sydney will come back soon. Thanks sonu!!!!!!
