Stunning Hotel - Perfect for a special occasion!
We had the most amazing wedding at Ovolo Wooloomooloo and couldn't have chosen a better venue. The staff were always polite, friendly, helpful and professional, and our wedding planner, Ana, was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. The hotel itself is stunning, with the ACDC Suite offering incredible views over Woolloomooloo Wharf and the heritage-listed Piper Room providing a beautiful and unique wedding setting. The food was exceptional! Delicious, high quality and enjoyed by all our guests. We highly recommend this venue for anyone planning their special day and the ACDC room for an extra special stay!

Overnight stay for a family catch up.
We have stayed many times as we have family living in the beautiful wharf that the hotel fronts. Locations is great for walkers and plenty of great restaurants downstairs for dining. Unfortunately we never get time to use all the facilities Ovolo have to offer.

Wooloomooloo is cool
We have had a great time here at the Ovolu Sydney. All the staff from front desk to restaurant bar have been friendly and helpful.. We loved our room overlooking the wharf toward the museum of contemporary art. The Neighbourhood here and location is fantastic for walking anywhere you wanna go in downtown Sydney. Thank you all Ovolo Sydney for making this a memorable one time lifetime trip to Australia for us!

Great Experience
I had a great stay at your Hotel. Perfect for Solo travelers like me. The food is nice as well even the ambiance, it's very relaxing.

No to Ovolo, for now.
I really wanted to treat myself, relax and love my time at Ovolo - the location is fantastic but the experience just didn’t match the promise. Loft room unfortunately felt tired and poorly maintained. Tried to relax in the hot tub but it wasn't working in the pool area. There were some pretty basic hygiene issues: black paint flaking off the bathroom taps, serious visible mould in windows and vents (so much in one room that I asked to be moved to another), dust and spider webs sitting in ceiling beams, shower floor with ageing tiles and deep layers of pigeon droppings caked on the roof area above the one elevator that was working. Some furniture has clearly seen better days and the stained bedhead didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Sadly I was uncomfortable and had a really uneasy night as it just didn't feel clean. If it was not late in the day I would have checked out. To their credit, management responded and offered a free breakfast and mentioned upcoming renovations, which is positive - but it didn’t change the fact that I was out of pocket and had a really disappointing experience. Great spot, good bones - but it's a no to Ovolo… for now.
