Great Experience
I had a great stay at your Hotel. Perfect for Solo travelers like me. The food is nice as well even the ambiance, it's very relaxing.

No to Ovolo, for now.
I really wanted to treat myself, relax and love my time at Ovolo - the location is fantastic but the experience just didn’t match the promise. Loft room unfortunately felt tired and poorly maintained. Tried to relax in the hot tub but it wasn't working in the pool area. There were some pretty basic hygiene issues: black paint flaking off the bathroom taps, serious visible mould in windows and vents (so much in one room that I asked to be moved to another), dust and spider webs sitting in ceiling beams, shower floor with ageing tiles and deep layers of pigeon droppings caked on the roof area above the one elevator that was working. Some furniture has clearly seen better days and the stained bedhead didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Sadly I was uncomfortable and had a really uneasy night as it just didn't feel clean. If it was not late in the day I would have checked out. To their credit, management responded and offered a free breakfast and mentioned upcoming renovations, which is positive - but it didn’t change the fact that I was out of pocket and had a really disappointing experience. Great spot, good bones - but it's a no to Ovolo… for now.

Reputation is not deserved.
This hotel didn't meet my expectations based on reputation and price. Room has not been refurbished since opening 10 years ago. Noisy air conditioning overdue for service and vacuum, stained badly patched carpet, wonky shower fittings. No concierge. No bar or restaurant or room service after 9.30pm. Inconvenient location for public transport. Spaciousness of room, breakfast buffet, and swimming pool were the highlights, though the cushions in the poolside cabanas were mildewed. There is better value, service and convenience to be had in the CBD.

Great location , Tired hotel certainly expensive but given its location this is ok
Great staff and great location but interiors don’t match the cost . Dusty , complex interior and tired room . Not really clean and no working lights in longe of Annex rm . Stained carpet, rusty bath, Tv ‘s don’t cast . Bed had thick plastic mattress protector so very sweaty to sleep on.

Perfect Christmas and New Year stay
We had a long stay over Christmas and New Year during our visit to Australia. What a fantastic stay!! Location - perfect on Cowper Wharf - 2 minutes from the Botanical Gardens on one side (this was our favourite morning walk), the Navy shipyard on the otherside. 15 mins walk from the Cathedral and the city centre. 10 mins from Potts Point and only 5 mins in a taxi from Surry Hills and Circular Quay. Rooms - very spacious, clean with everything you need - mini bar, kettle, ironing board etc. The bed was very large and comfortable. We had a bath and stand alone shower which was ideal (room 312) Staff - all were excellent, attentive (hello from everyone you walked past), Front Desk very helpful, Cleaning very good and Breakfast and Bar staff really good. Can't mention all by name, but 2 really looked after me with special coffee needs!! Ana with her Freddo Espresso and Liam with his Mont Blanc - thanks guys. Overall a faultless stay and can highly recommend The Ovolo Woolloomooloo.
