Seated majestically on one of the world’s most beautiful harbours, Park Hyatt Sydney perfectly personifies contemporary harbourside luxury with its coveted location between the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Reminiscent of an exclusive harbourside residence, Park Hyatt Sydney offers intimate surrounds with architecture, art and design that reflect the Australian landscape.

The hotel has an amazing view of Sydney opera, nice property, good condition, the closet is automatic like Japan! The food at the breakfast and restaurant was delicious! Place nearby ferry port, make it convenient to explore sydney! Super!

My adult son had exchanged correspondence with Simon before our visit and was amazed at the outstanding Discovery Sydney Guide he received. Wow! Simon recommended great restaurants: Cafe Sydney, 6Head, Pony Lounge & Dining, Harbourfront Seafood, Bennelong, Glenmore Hotel Rooftop, Maybe Sammy Cocktails, Opera Bar, and Hugo’s at Manly Beach. Elise checked us in early and upgraded us to a beautiful Harbour view room with a gorgeous balcony. She also personally escorted us to our spotless room and provided complimentary chocolates. The location was perfect: walked to several restaurants and tourist sites within 5-15 mins. As always it’s service, service, service, that sets Hyatt apart!

This was our first time in Sydney. The Park Hyatt was the obvious choice. We booked 2 harbor view rooms for four nights. The views were amazing. The location was perfect for exploring the city. We loved the bed, blackout blinds, spacious bathroom and heated toilet seat. The front desk staff, doormen, cleaning staff, concierge and breakfast employees were all very attentive and accommodating. Sunset from the rooftop hot tub was memorable. We enjoyed breakfast each morning. Please note: we were visiting the hotel at the same time that the stars of The Fantastic Four movie were also staying at the hotel. Each actor had body guards, stylists, assistants, etc. As you can imagine, the hotel was fully staffed, everyone was buzzing with energy and anticipation. When the stars arrived we were exiting the building….there were cars everywhere, staffed lined up to greet them, chaos in the small lobby. This continued each day as the actors would come and go, take photos outside of the hotel, do press in the hotel. Clearly the staff has VIP guests all the time. And it is obvious they know how to cater to their needs. And at no time do I think the rest of the guests were let down by service. But I will say that when the lobby was filled with movie related guests we felt that we needed to move out of the way. We watched food delivery drivers being chased from the hotel because the actors were about to leave for the premiere. We watched guests being quickly dropped off in the street by their uber driver because they weren’t allowed at the front door. We had a great time at the Park Hyatt….and while it may be fun to tell your friends that you were having breakfast alongside Pedro Pascal…..I wonder if a calm, quiet, everyday Park Hyatt Sydney would have been an even better experience.

The Park Hyatt Sydney at the Rocks, does just that..IT ROCKS! The time has come to finally share a review after 10 years of visits. There is no better location for any hotel anywhere than the Park Hyatt Sydney. The views are stunning. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the Legend himself BRUCE! He’s so gracious, and friendly. He is the face of the Park Hyatt, and we’ve become true friends over the years. There is nothing that he can’t accommodate for you. The rooms are modern and well equipped, with fantastic bathrooms, with Toto loos. The breakfast is a must include in your ressie. Mr. Rudy and the team will take fantastic care of you to start your day. Get the Pancakes! Be sure to stop in at the lobby Bar, fantastic! Kevin will greet you, and strike up great chats about the world! Prego Kevin. I also recommend any cocktail made by my new pal James. His classic Martini is one of the best I’ve ever had. I also wanted to commend the Concierge Team, who can get you into Mr. Wongs last minute, and take care of any request you may have. Can’t forget my front desk pals Malte, and Chloe. They will always greet you with a smile, and a pure sense of hospitality. On a side note, be sure to stop into the Squidinki Gallery down the block, and meet Max the artist. He has some fab artwork, and chatting with him will really make your day.

We stayed on floor 3 toward the western end, but overlooking the harbour and Rock's restaurants. Very spacious and well thought out plans. Having the seating space adjacent to the balcony was brilliant as could still see the water easily while not being in the cold. The toilet located at the entry end was also well situated with its own vanity. Hadn't experienced a heated seat before but thought this was different but can see the attraction. The main bathroom was great, just what you would want even for home with appropriate seating and large bench space, double basins which I don't normally like, but the bench was large enough it didn't waste space with the second basin. The lighting was more for mood than for makeup etc. but adequate. The shower/bath afforded excellent room to move and bend and still be able to reach towels when required. The bedding was soft but supportive, and the lighting and drapes with high tech access at the bedside. We did get a chance to use the gym. The facility is quite a good set out. Excellent level of machines and nice outlook toward the bridge. Amenity here also provided for shower and lockers. We did venture to the pool area but was too cool this week to actually use it. Breakfast was more than adequate. A range of items for selection was broad enough to offer good variety of fresh fruits, juices, breads and cereals to get you started. The other menu options also covered enough variety so you could completely be satisfied. Not extensive but excellent all the same. The view over towards the Opera House or Rocks area of the International Terminal were brilliant with the sunrise. Magic. The valet parking was efficient and pleasant to have, and they were responsive. All staff were engaging and seemed to be enjoying their day even though working. A great stay in many ways and made special with little touches over the birthday weekend.
