Rising over Darling Harbour, W Sydney instantly captures the eye with the undulating lines of its futuristic exterior and striking interiors that pay homage to the hotel’s NSW locale. Daring and original, a sleek retreat where bold design meets the larrikin spirit, seamlessly melding Sydney and Australia’s cultural touchstones to create an all-encompassing dining and social destination. The Darling Harbour hotel transforms as day turns to night, from the evocative future-noir allure of the Living Room bar and kinetic energy of BTWN restaurant to AWAY Spa, a refreshing sanctuary amid its concrete city surrounds, and the panoramic harbor views from WET Deck and double story rooftop bar, 29/30. Within each of W Sydney’s guest rooms, suites, and studios, marine chic design interiors channel the hotel’s harbourside location and Sydney’s stunning coastlines. W Sydney is ahead of the curve, making room for renegades to eat, drink, play, and stay in inimitable style.

Great location, beautiful rooftop pool to swim laps in, but who on earth closes such a spectacular asset at 5.30pm when people are barely back from work and want to enjoy the views and get a few laps in. Yes there is a smaller and shorter pool for kids to play in that’s indoors on a lower level, but this pool is a highlight, and all 3 times I have stayed here - I have been asked to leave at 5.30 because the pool is being shut.

This was a fun experience, but there are some inconveniences during our stay that wasted a lot of our time. Our key card didn’t work half the time, leaving us stuck in the lift for up to 9 minutes without help. Another problem that occurred during our stay, was that the hotel had booked the rooftop pool for a party for the afternoon without alerting any of the guests, leaving many of us stuck at the top floor for quite a while waiting for the lifts. When they extended our stay, they did not update the key cards, meaning that we were not able to access any of our baggage left in the room.

Everything was wonderful; the atmosphere, treats & especially the massage. She listened to my needs & worked on the tension in my shoulders ! Loved it! Thank you!

Had two nights at the W Sydney on work travel; apart from a protracted check in experience, it was a very enjoyable stay. Large well-designed room; although took a while to find all the correct light switches/controls. Massive bathroom, not the biggest fan of the shower design however modern & functional. Cool bar in the lobby with friendly staff throughout. Thanks team

I stayed at the W for 2 weeks for my wedding, and from the second you walk in, the W is splashed with "WOW" factor. The place is gorgeous, and the location is suberb. Emma and her team made us feel special since the minute we opened the door to our room, and deserve a huge congratulations. Everything from the pool to the living room bar was amazing. Friendly staff. And for us - a well equipped gym was a massive plus.
