Rising over Darling Harbour, W Sydney instantly captures the eye with the undulating lines of its futuristic exterior and striking interiors that pay homage to the hotel’s NSW locale. Daring and original, a sleek retreat where bold design meets the larrikin spirit, seamlessly melding Sydney and Australia’s cultural touchstones to create an all-encompassing dining and social destination. The Darling Harbour hotel transforms as day turns to night, from the evocative future-noir allure of the Living Room bar and kinetic energy of BTWN restaurant to AWAY Spa, a refreshing sanctuary amid its concrete city surrounds, and the panoramic harbor views from WET Deck and double story rooftop bar, 29/30. Within each of W Sydney’s guest rooms, suites, and studios, marine chic design interiors channel the hotel’s harbourside location and Sydney’s stunning coastlines. W Sydney is ahead of the curve, making room for renegades to eat, drink, play, and stay in inimitable style.

Nina and Kim went above and beyond for my shark obsessed daughter, spoiling her with the best welcome gift. It really made her (and my) day!

We had an incredible stay at W Sydney for my hens celebration. From arrival, everything exceeded expectations, with thoughtful surprises in our room setting the tone for a memorable weekend. Although we didn’t meet Nina, her efforts were appreciated. Thank you also to Kim and Pam for their warm, attentive service—it truly made a difference. The hospitality was exceptional, and every detail made our celebration feel special. I couldn’t have chosen a better place. Highly recommend W Sydney and can’t wait to return!

My partner and I did a 3 night staycation at W Hotel Sydney. The room was fantastic with a great view over Darling Harbour. Immaculately clean and everything we needed including a pillow menu - which we used to change out to memory foam. Breakfast is what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The lounge areas and bars have great views as well. What stood out the most was how wonderful the staff were. Always accommodating and going out of their way to make sure that your experience was great. The only 'fault' I would say is that the bath is a weird round shape - which is not conducive to relaxing. As we stayed in winter, I am not sure whether you would use the pool for sunbaking - but it was still a great space.

My son surprised his girlfriend for their one-year anniversary, and I reached out to the hotel beforehand to see if they could help make the occasion extra special. To say they accepted the assignment is an understatement. Nina and the team went above and beyond in every way, creating an experience that exceeded all expectations. When they returned home and shared everything with me, they were absolutely thrilled and so grateful for the thoughtful touches and care they received. Thank you, Nina and the entire team, for helping create such beautiful memories and for making a special occasion even more unforgettable. ♥️ Highly recommended! 🌟
