Rising over Darling Harbour, W Sydney instantly captures the eye with the undulating lines of its futuristic exterior and striking interiors that pay homage to the hotel’s NSW locale. Daring and original, a sleek retreat where bold design meets the larrikin spirit, seamlessly melding Sydney and Australia’s cultural touchstones to create an all-encompassing dining and social destination. The Darling Harbour hotel transforms as day turns to night, from the evocative future-noir allure of the Living Room bar and kinetic energy of BTWN restaurant to AWAY Spa, a refreshing sanctuary amid its concrete city surrounds, and the panoramic harbor views from WET Deck and double story rooftop bar, 29/30. Within each of W Sydney’s guest rooms, suites, and studios, marine chic design interiors channel the hotel’s harbourside location and Sydney’s stunning coastlines. W Sydney is ahead of the curve, making room for renegades to eat, drink, play, and stay in inimitable style.

Stay was nice but a bit disappointing as the main reason we booked this hotel was because of the beautiful pool overlooking darling harbour. We arrive at check in to be told kids aren’t allowed in the pool area on Sundays I asked why and it was due to them wanting to create an adult only experience/area Pretty disappointing They have another pool but it’s nowhere near as nice as that one, I have stayed at the crown at Barangaroo and had a cocktail and poolside food in the cabanas and I can still have my daughter with me also able to enjoy the facilities

Stayed at W Sydney for 3 nights in July. The location Was great, near to Darling Harbour and CBD. Lobby is on the smaller side. A couple of groups check in and the area become packed. My Nighty Upgrade AWard Wasn't cleared on that stay unfortunately even though the options I selected Was still available online. (Nightly Upgrade Award or NUA is a part of Marriott Bonvoy Platinum and above elite benefit) HoWever, service Was amazing and I did have the luxury of using their spa. it Was Wonderful! Would love to return there again if I happen to visit Sydney in the future.

Comfortable hotel room with great view of Darling Harbor. Staff was kind. Enjoyed the pools and the bar area near the lobby. Great location if you are there for work conference as the ICC Sydney convention center is very close by. We were visiting during Vivid Sydney and it was neat to see all the light exhibits. Good location where you could walk to several restaurants. Minor complaints: I had a massage at the Spa and it was nice. However I didn’t find the rest of the spa to be that great. No magazines or any reading materials. Kind of a modern and cold feeling. The service at the bar area near the lobby was a bit slow and items were expensive. The hallways where the guest rooms are located are dark.

Right on Sydney Harbour. The best location you can have. Modern look and vibrancy! Rooms are nice and colourful. Rooms with Sydney Harbour view are just superb. This was my second time there and simply love staying.
