Hyatt Regency Taghazout

It cannot ever be overstated how exceptional the service is at this hotel. The building beautiful and well maintained. The food is delicious and varied. You can literally find anything you like whether you're health conscious or indulging in sweet treats. The drinks are excellent quality and unique too. As it's a dry country, you can only find alcohol in hotels and the cocktails here are delightful. The activities are plentiful and diverse, with fitness classes, sunset yoga, a full spa and gym, surf and paddle board hire and surf lessons. Bike rides and hike excursions. You can do as much or as little as you want. But for us, the customer service was what made our stay so special. Every member of staff, from upper management to the maintenance and cleaning team seemed genuinely happy to see us and were incredibly friendly and accomodating. We were celebrating my wife's 40th birthday and at the mere mention of this the hotel sprung into action, baking a birthday cake and singing happy birthday to her, as well as decorating our room with rose petals and birthday balloons. They even gave us a late check out - all totally free of charge. The hotel has a large family pool as well as a smaller adults only pool tucked away where it is quite. As a child free couple this is invaluable to us. A quiet getaway from the noise of children with a beautiful sea view. The rooms are large and luxurious. The bar and waiting staff at both the hotel restaurants, pool bar and beach club were on hand and genuinely excited to serve us. The surfing coach Eunice was brilliant and got both of us beginners on our feet and riding waves in a matter of hours. The walk into Taghazout town down a purpose built walking and cycle path is short and manageable if you want to experience a truly unique coastal town experience. Laidback and friendly locals are also eager to make you feel welcome and looked after. Unlike other Moroccan locations you will find very few street sellers hassling you to buy something or eat in their restaurant. We only came across a few children selling bracelets and a guy giving out free Moroccan tea on the beach. The horror stories of being chased through markets by aggressive salespeople is non existent in Taghazout. Stray cats and dogs litter the beaches and streets. If you aren't into it that could be a draw back I suppose I cannot recommend this hotel and Taghazout as a whole highly enough to anyone wanting a holiday in a unique town. We are by no means wealthy, so this trip was at the upper limits of our budget, but the value for money was exceptional. You get treated like royalty by friendly smiling faces wherever you go. 10/10 all round. Xx

I stayed at hayat regency on october and was an amzing stay the hotel.itself has a great location with the view over the ocean the room was big and very clean The staff are friendly speaicl ghizlane at the receaption she was an amzing person very kind and welcoming with the smilling and very helpful special thanks to her I really recemmended

Dris – Front Hotel Receptionist Dris was incredibly welcoming, professional and always happy to help. He made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and was always approachable whenever we needed anything. His friendly attitude and excellent customer service really stood out. Abderrahim - Pool Bar Manager@ La Vie en Bleu Abderrahim was fantastic throughout our stay. He was attentive, hardworking and always made sure everything at the pool bar was running smoothly. His professionalism and dedication were clear to see, and he always made guests feel well looked after. A real credit to the hotel. Abdellah Hamzah – Waiter @ La Vie en Bleu Abdellah deserves a special mention for his outstanding service. He was always quick, attentive and on top of everything, making sure we were never left waiting. Seeing how hard he works, even when dealing with many guests, was genuinely impressive. He is a truly hardworking member of the team and deserves recognition and consideration for promotion. A real credit to La Vie en Bleu and the hotel. Beautiful hotel,very nice and relaxing atmosphere, all the staff very helpful and friendly. We came for my husband 50th and they offered us beautiful room with ocean view for us and our friends. The duty manager,Hicham, was so kind and offered to make a cake for my husband birthday making our stay amazing.Thank you so much to Hicham Hriouad ,you were great and made our stay perfect!Pool is very nice,it has been quiet when we stayed and food was very nice also.I would recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful and perfect holiday.

This is our second stay in 2026 having visited in April/May. The hotel remains a fabulous place to stay for serenity and recharge. The location is perfect for seeing amazing sunsets from your balcony or on the beach. Service wise it is great. All the hotel team operate on the same level - warm, welcoming and can’t do enough to make your stay special. From the reception staff (Huda, Zakaria, Faysal amongst many others) to the breakfast, restaurant and pool folks you will be well looked after and everyone remembers your preferences, building it in to the rest of your stay. Special mention to Issam, Soufiane and Brahim at the pool bar who were always on hand with the best quality service. Abdeletif from the pool team was equally helpful and always on hand to move a bed or brolly. Credit to the whole place - it runs like a dream. We stayed in a Regency Suite which is huge with a fabulous view and maintained to a high standard - Ahmed has his team well drilled in housekeeping!
