I am a frequent traveler to Taipei and Palais de Chine remains my absolute top choice. During my recent stay, the room encountered a few unexpected technical glitches due to the heavy thunderstorm. However, the crisis management by the team was flawless. Miss Hsu and Miss Huang at the 6th-floor reception handled the issues with incredible efficiency, offering a room upgrade and direct care from the Guest Relations Manager, Miss Huang. Also, a huge shout-out to the 1st-floor concierge team (Ms. Wu, Ms. Liu, Mr. Huang, and Manager Tso)—their mind-blowing ability to remember my name and face every time I walk through the lobby (even with a mask on!) is simply legendary. Their genuine warmth and high EQ turned a minor inconvenience into an exceptional experience. Highly recommended!

The rooms and hallways are extremely attractive and very nicely furnished. The beds are large and very comfortable. There is a walk-in shower as well as a small round tub, plus a bidet-in the toilet area. Some of the really nice touches are large, fluffy towels, African coffee, large desk and multiple mirrors. The check-in process was a breeze as well as checkout. Everything is immaculate and well maintained. Although the hotel is located at the corner of two busy streets, we heard no noise from our 12 floor room. A few minor suggestions for the room improvements would be have the glass to the shower area opaque rather than clear, a larger counter at the sink and maybe clearer identification of the somewhat confusing light switches. I highly recommend this hotel if you want Luxury at a fairly reasonable price.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were truly impressed by the excellent service provided by the team. A special thank you to Ting Nieh for her warm hospitality and attentiveness throughout our stay. She kindly assisted us with our luggage and even prepared lovely souvenirs for us, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made our experience even more memorable. We were also pleasantly surprised when the hotel team prepared a birthday cake for me, which was a very sweet and unexpected touch. The room was always kept spotless, tidy, and well-maintained every day, reflecting the team’s dedication and professionalism. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-managed. The staff are friendly, caring, and go above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and valued. Thank you to Ting Nieh and the entire hotel team for making our stay so special. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future!

My visit to Palais de Chine Hotel (君品酒店) was made truly special by their incredible art tour. The collection here is incredibly rich, deep, and beautifully curated, but what truly elevated the experience was our guide, Polly. We felt so incredibly lucky to have her! She was exceptionally warm, friendly, and welcoming from the very beginning. Her passion for the art was contagious, and she explained the history and stories behind each piece in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. If you visit, I highly recommend taking the art tour—and if you’re lucky enough to get Polly, you’re in for an absolute treat! Pamela Lin
