Wonderful Stay

huge room; huge bed!!!! Good breakfast. (and a French bakery right next door!). Delightful staff. Good, solid communication prior to arrival.

Unpleasant

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Smack in the middle of the old town, great location. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is not so great. We were given a really crammed room, weirdly furnished, with a small shower. Bedding didn’t smell freshly laundered. Everything looked cheap and poorly designed. The lobby and the courtyard shabby, grubby and poorly maintained. Personnel at reception not very friendly, and breakfast at 20€ absolutely overpriced.

Great atmospheric hotel smack in old town Tallinn

The hotel is a warren of floors and rooms in two very old connected buildings in the heart of old Tallinn. The room and bathroom were large and cosy. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was helpful.

Miserable Stay – Hot Room & Rude Management

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

We booked this hotel expecting a comfortable stay, but it turned into a nightmare. The room was unbearably hot, and the air conditioning was completely non-functional. When we contacted the front desk, instead of offering a solution or even a fan, the hotel manager was dismissive and outright rude. They refused to provide any relief, claiming “there’s nothing we can do,” and would not allow us to cancel the second night, even though the room was unlivable. Manager said that "we never advertised that we have air conditioning" in the Presidential suite. Our Presidential suite did have AC splits installed, they just didn't blow cold air. The hotel manager was so rude that American Express (credit card) even hung on her an apologized to me about the experience. We barely slept because of the heat and left feeling frustrated and disrespected. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel unless you enjoy sweltering rooms and unhelpful staff who clearly don’t value their guests.

Dissapointment

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 months ago

Executive room did not meet any of our expectations. Beds were awful and dirt covered with sheets, not approriate curtains nor aircondition (you do have to ask it separately). The furniture was not nice at all, in the sofa I did not dare to sit. In toilet there was not any place to put your stuff. Breakfast was nice.
