Fairmont Tazi Palace

We had a wonderful stay at Fairmont Tangier, and the hospitality was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Everyone was smiling and always willing to assist, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. A special thank you to Ahmed Amin, Mohamed from Reception, Marwa , Chef Osama, and Chef Wafa. Each of them went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their warmth, professionalism, and willingness to help really stood out, and they are a true credit to the hotel. For the hospitality and service, I would happily give the hotel q0/10. The one area that unfortunately did not meet the standards I would expect from a Fairmont property was housekeeping. The rooms did not feel fully prepared for new guests upon our arrival. In particular, the bed sheets and pillowcases had not been changed to the standard we expected, and the overall room preparation and cleaning were not consistent with the level of a five-star hotel. We had to call and follow up to have the bedding attended to. For housekeeping, I would rate the experience around 2/5. Overall, we truly appreciated the warmth and professionalism of the staff and enjoyed our stay. The exceptional service from the team made a real difference. With some improvement and closer attention to housekeeping and room preparation, Fairmont Tangier could provide an outstanding experience across every aspect of the hotel.

What a wonderful stay. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully restored from its historic past as the palace of Morocco's Sultan Governor of the Northern Provinces. Perched atop a hill, it offers stunning views of the city and is surrounded by lush gardens and forested walking trails, creating a peaceful and elegant retreat. The décor is breathtaking, blending traditional Moroccan design elements with a sophisticated modern aesthetic. What truly sets Tazi Palace apart, however, is its exceptional service and meticulous attention to detail. Omar, the hotel's concierge, thoughtfully recommended activities and destinations that perfectly matched our interests and schedule. Every excursion he arranged was outstanding and enhanced our experience immensely. The breakfast buffet was equally memorable. The impressive selection featured Moroccan, French, and Spanish specialties, beautifully presented across multiple stations and offering something for every palate. I would also like to give special recognition to Fatima, our housekeeper, for taking such wonderful care of us during our stay. Returning each day from sightseeing to a room adorned with fresh flowers was a thoughtful touch that made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. Tazi Palace exceeded our expectations in every way and provided an unforgettable experience. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tangier.

I had a really nice experience at Tazi Fairmont! The place was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed my time there. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The breakfast was also really good, with a nice variety of options. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I would definitely recommend it!

I had a wonderful massage with Ferdaous, it was much needed and I would highly recommend her. She was very professional and the massage was excellent

We celebrate our wedding anniversary at different locations each year, and this year we visited Fairmont Tangier. It is a beautiful, historic palace with a magnificent lobby and garden, but the rooms are in need of an upgrade—especially the bathrooms and door handles. There was no welcome drink, nor any fruit or chocolates in the room; just two bottles of water and a few tea bags. There was no minibar, only an empty fridge that the hotel referred to as a "minibar on request"! We repeatedly tried to use the spa facilities, but each time the reception told us the spa would call us back—which they never did. On our last day, we asked to speak with a manager; they were supposed to call us but never did either. It was very strange that the concierge service was not permitted to book taxis for guests, as they had been instructed to push customers to use the hotel's own car service. However, the hotel offered a nice breakfast and excellent food at the Parisa restaurant, and some of the staff members were truly lovely.
