This luxurious, gorgeous hotel and the management and staff running it provided my GF Laura and I an experience we will cherish forever! We appreciated the lively welcome by the hostess, with hot Moroccan tea and cookies and a thorough introduction to all the amenities such as the large lovely pool and outdoor covered sitting area, spa, grounds, gym, and two amazing restaurants. Breakfast each morning put us on a perfect track for a day of exploring Tangier and the blue city. The omelet bar and Moroccan specialties bar gave us made to order options and every one of the staff greeted us happily each morning and brought us fantastic rich coffee and fresh squeezed juices - orange, carrot, beet and apple/pear. The fresh fruit, cheeses, meats and pastries were excellent. The Tazi Palace also offered local traditional foods. We took advantage of the restaurants two nights, experiencing Moroccan and Persian cuisine after enjoying a cocktail in the speakeasy bar! Wonderful explanations. The International/Mediterranean restaurant also offered great options for our last evening and we enjoyed a live three piece band with local songs. I could not finish this review without acknowledging our hostess on day one, our wonderful and patient and kind concierge Yassine, our waiter Omar and our housekeeper! They stood out amongst a great group of support staff, always available to assist us! Thanks to Fairmont management!

The Fairmont Tazi was absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely courteous and kind. We had a slight issue with out room reservation, and Hafid went above and beyond to make it right. Not only was he able to get a room that better suited our needs, he checked us into the original room in the meantime and encouraged us to relax in the spa. The food is incredible, please do not is the breakfast and the views. If I could give the property a 6 we would. While not directly downtown, it is only a 15min tax away from the waterfront and the Medina.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff are incredible. So warm and tuned in to what you might want. Karima - she makes the most beautiful msemen (a Moroccan pancake). Absolutely amazing. Was so lovely to meet her and this enhanced the breakfast experience everyday.

Despite the crowded reception, Kawtar (Cookie) gave us such a warm welcome during our quick snack visit to the Rose Room. She took great care of us and explained everything perfectly. The food was delicious we’ll definitely be back to try the afternoon tea! Shoutout to Hind, Walid, and Hajar for their professionalism. See you next time!

I just spent three nights at this beautiful property in the outskirts of Tangier. But beauty can be deceiving. This hotel has some major flaws for a so called 5 star property. First, I booked a transfer from the airport to the hotel with the hotel’s concierge but no one showed up to pick me up. Second, hotel WiFi is spotty, it works well sometimes but you lose signal often. Pool area lacks service. No one is there to handle the towels or to serve you drinks and food. It’s just a big empty space. Housekeeping kept leaving one towel for the room, and when I tried to call front desk after 10pm, no one would answer the phone. I’ve stayed in many 5 stars hotel around the world and they surely were very different than this beautiful but flawed hotel in Tangier.
