Belmond Villa Sant'Andrea

We stayed at Belmond Villa Sant’Andrea for four nights in June to celebrate a birthday, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our room was thoughtfully prepared with welcome flowers and birthday treats. Before our arrival and throughout our stay, we received attentive and gracious service from the entire team. We were especially grateful for the warm welcome from Guest Relations Manager Laura Ricci and General Manager Giovanni Nastasi, as well as the kindness and professionalism of Maryna Lukashenka, Simona Maria Sgroi, and Carla Visalli. A special thank you to Activities Leaders Robert and Francesca, who created the true highlights of our trip. From pizza making and Negroni tasting to memorable hikes and a wonderful boat excursion with Captain Delfino, every experience was thoughtfully organized and filled with warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine passion. Swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea was unforgettable, and these experiences were so exceptional that they alone would be reason enough for us to return. The Food & Beverage team also deserves special recognition for their exceptional care regarding my food allergies. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable, safe, and very well fed throughout our stay. WOW!!!!! This hotel is absolutely AMAZING!!!! The location cannot be beat - right on the water in Taormina. The views are spectacular from every location. We were a large party and were greeted warmly as soon entered the hotel. Our bags were whisked away and we were seated in a lounge area and offered refreshments while the staff registered us. We went to breakfast out on a beautiful terrace and enjoyed the view. I can't emphasize enough just how beautiful this hotel is. Every staff member greets you as you walk around. The rooms were spacious and immaculate. A mix of old world charm and modern amenities. When we went to the beach, we were again greeted and escorted to lounge chairs with umbrellas. But then, I spotted the cabanas and I was hooked. The cabanas offered lots of room in the shade in addition to comfy lounges in the sun. They included a refrigerator with drinks; a bottle of champagne; a huge fruit salad; a fan and couches for those who wanted to cool off. The beach is rocky but we brought water shoes and the water was crystal clear. The staff came by frequently to check if there was anything they could do to make our stay more enjoyable. For lunch we alternated between going up to the terrace restaurant and ordering for delivery at the cabana - all delicous. The hotel offers a shuttle from the hotel up to Taormina for a visit to the amphitheater, shopping in the town or lunch/dinner at the other Bellmond Hotel Timeo. We stayed for five days but everyone agreed that we had to return VERY soon!!!!

Stayed overnight and received an upgraded room with the most amazing view. Belmond is known for their luxury properties and this didn't disappoint. Would love to stay here again.

The resort is romantic and explendid in every detail. Diego, the concierge, speaks fluent Portuguese and is always ahead giving the best recomendations.
