We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Sant'Andrea, Belmond's beach property in Sicily and would return without hesitation. The location is fantastic, especially if you enjoy being right on the water. The beach was one of our favorite parts of the stay. It is a rocky beach rather than a sandy one, and the rocks can get extremely hot during the August heat, so water shoes are helpful. That said, the setting is beautiful and the views are incredible. The pool area was also excellent, with thoughtful included amenities and attentive service throughout the day. We stayed in a suite with our child, who slept on the pull-out sofa. While the suite and bathroom was a bit smaller than we expected, especially for a suite category, it was very comfortable and offered stunning views that more than made up for the size. We also appreciated the thoughtful personal touches and amenities provided for our child, which helped make our family feel welcome. The food was outstanding. Lunch may have been the best meal we had during our entire time in Taormina. Breakfast, which was included with our stay, was equally impressive with delicious offerings and beautiful views to start each morning. Overall, this is a beautiful property in an unbeatable beachfront location with excellent dining, wonderful service, and memorable views. We left wishing we had stayed longer and would happily return on a future trip to Sicily.

My wife and I spent 6 nights at Villa Sant'Andrea for our anniversary during a two-week vacation through Italy, and it was absolutely lovely. The property is beautiful, the amenities are plentiful, and the food was fantastic—especially the wonderful breakfast spread each morning. The highlight of our stay was the impeccable service; the staff is remarkably warm and attentive. We owe a special thank you to Francesca, who took incredible care of us throughout our stay. We would return in a heartbeat.
