This hotel and the staff exceed any reviews, photos or write ups you will see on the internet. This place simply blew us away in all aspects. It was unforgettable.

This hotel is exceptional - the location, the service, the ambiance, the food - everything. I’m not sure why White Lotus was not filmed here. The town of Taormina is awesome but being on the water makes it even more special. Having the sister hotel - Grand Hotel Taormina- in the town gives you the best of both worlds. I can’t remember better service at a hotel in ages - you could feel the star really wanted to make your stay special, no matter which department they worked in. From arrival to departure our stay could not have been better - hmm maybe for a few minutes on checkout, when I got the bill 😛. It’s not cheap but in this case I will say you get what you pay for.

The other reviews say it all. Location is stunning. Our room had a balcony overlooking the ocean (the beach is off to the side). Nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. Our room was on the smaller side, but no complaints given the updated bathroom and balcony. Service was absolutely impeccable always/everywhere. Breakfast was very good. Close (although somewhat perilous) walk to neighboring hotel and free standing restaurants as well as the cable car.

A perfect spot on the east coast of Sicily. The staff was very courteous and welcomed us on arrival. Make sure you ask when booking about the location of your room/suite in relation to the reception and dining areas.

truly awful service in a gorgeous looking hotel. 25 mins from Taormina which becomes a bit of a ball ache with errors in booking spaces in the shuttle - when you’re booked in late at night and they’ve double booked spaces - there’s no way of walking back or sorting it and the hotel do not know how to handle it. Upon checkout we were not asked for feedback or if we had enjoyed our stay - he thrust the internal iPad into our hands with lifetime spend and loyalty category on - we are not supposed to see this. We got no tour upon check in or information about breakfast or the spa or anything. The concierge was not able to secure ANY reservations at all. Dinner at the restaurant on Easter Sunday was dire - we left early as did two other tables. Honestly this was a shambles of a hotel with unfriendly staff in every area. We categorically will not be back. We had stayed in July 2022 and loved it but it was like staying in a different hotel.
