Belmond Villa Sant'Andrea

We enjoyed absolutely every aspect of our 10 day experience!! From the moment we arrived and were greeted at the front door by both the door men and the reception all the way until one of the Bellmen helped us when we left with our luggage. We were amazed at how every single employee on the entire property greeted us every time we saw somebody. And what was more amazing was how quickly so many of the employees knew our name and would greet us by our name. I want call-out a few specific people, who's efforts to make our stay most enjoyable, deserve a special shout-out. Diego, Sandy, Caterina, Roberta....and one of the other Concierge who's name is escaping me. All five of them were fast to respond to us, made amazing recommendations, and were so easy to work with. Guest Relations employees, Francesca and Claudia, and especially Roberta Fassari. I call out Roberta separately because she really went out of her way to make recommendations on things for us to do, check-in with us on our experience and ask the simple question of whether there was anything more she could do. Names I didn't get who's service stood-out....every employe at the restaurants, bar, front door, housekeeping, pool attendants, life-guards, pool-side concierge.....and I know I'm missing some. Every one of them deserves a shout out for their amazing service and the constant smiles on their face. The little things you do at the hotel with the turn-down service, the bedside gift, clean towels in both the morning and evening, when needed, the spectacular cleanliness of the entire property, including the rooms. The only thing that made us sad was leaving the property after 10 days. But Tina and I have memories of a lifetime!!! Thank you to the Villa Sant'Andrea staff and Belmond leadership. You are all doing an amazing job!!!

This hotel is fantastic! The staff really go above and beyond what I have seen at other top hotels. We had a small issue with our room and it was rectified immediately. The food was also outstanding. I can’t say enough great things about our experience! For those wondering if they should stay at the Timeo or Sant’Andrea. Both properties are beautiful. I was happy to be at the Sant Andrea because it was super hot when we were there and it made it easy to go to the beach. But I could see staying at the Timeo if it was not beach weather.

The setting alone is worth the trip — perched right on the private beach of Mazzarò Bay, with the crystal-clear water and dramatic coastline framing every view. Whether you're relaxing by the infinity pool or having a drink at the beach club, it feels like stepping into another world. The historic charm of the property is unmistakable, but it's paired seamlessly with modern comfort — elegant rooms, beautiful marble bathrooms, and thoughtful little touches everywhere you look. Every detail felt considered. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely gracious — the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like an honored guest rather than just another reservation. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and it made the whole stay feel effortless. If you're considering Taormina, do yourself a favor and stay here. Villa Sant'Andrea isn't just a hotel — it's an experience, and one I'll be thinking about for a long time. Without question, I'll be back.

VSA is a spectacular place to stay on the beach in Taormina. Everything there is perfection from the rooms to the food to the service to the beach. We loved every minute of our stay, and will definitely return for a third time!!!
