Grand Hotel San Pietro

This is an exquisitely beautiful hotel and the hospitality is very professional and personalized. The hotel itself is positioned above the Mediterranean so the views are incredible. Rooms are beautiful, bar is fantastic and breakfast on the patio overlooking the sea is unforgettable. Just steps from the town of Taormina.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They are also very professional and bend over backwards to ensure your comfort during your stay. The breakfast was outstanding, the service during breakfast and at the restaurant for dinner was outstanding. The hotel pool was lovely and the shuttle service was a welcome addition to the stay. We would definitely return and stay again. Thank you you too the hotel staff that recognize my husband‘s birthday and made it special by having a cake made for him and presenting it to him during breakfast. He was very thrilled!

We ended up at this hotel after having a problem with a 4 star hotel (at best). My family loved staying at this hotel. Housekeeping did an outstanding job twice daily for all of us. The entire hotel staff was great. They made the start of our vacation something we will always treasure.

I’m not sure the hotel itself or the staff could have been better or nicer. From the moment we were greeted as our taxi pulled up, to the moment we departed, we received white glove service. Our room was beautiful and faced the sea. We had our own large patio/terrace to enjoy the view. A shuttle was available to take us to the city center and pick us up when we wanted to return. The shower was large and never ran out of hot water. The bed was amazing and we both slept like babies. I could go on and on about the service but let me just say they were very attentive to every need without question. The hotel is expensive but you get what you pay for. This was one of the finest stays we have had anywhere. If I were to pick one slight “issue,” it would be the WIFI was just ok. But the service, staff, food and the hotel itself were all 10/10.

The view of the Ionian Sea from our room was mesmerizing. The service was wonderful the reception was so kind and helpful 5 stars . The spa - my massage was amazing ,deep tissue , with dry and stream saunas followed by a hot tub and view of the sea . The pool atmosphere and other guests were very friendly and social and the setting is spectacular. Breakfast on our terrace with a view of the Sea was complimentary . I left my nice Sunglasses at the spa the day before we left . Upon check out , the glasses had not been found . The manager credited our bill for both my wife’s and my massage 200 euro . 5 minutes later housekeeping found them and he still honored the credit . The shuttle leaves every hour but they make every effort to provide a special extra pick up or ride to town .We stayed 3 nights . They also honored the Amex $100 credit . The snacks in the room plus a bottle of wine and waters were all complimentary. You pay for luxury and it feels that way at the Grand Hotel Dan Pietro it’s no wonder they have a 5 stars Luxury rating .
