Metropole Taormina Maison d'Hotes

Lovely Hotel, stayed here for 4 nights. Great location. Staff at breakfast time are excellent. The manager Grazia is super efficient and of the same calibre as the staff in the 5 star Ashford Castle in Ireland. We had dinner one night on the terrace again service was great. Pool is not heated. Staff at reception for the most part are very good. Would recommend.

From start to finish our experience at this hotel has been amazing. The staff are exceptional, the views are unbelievable, our room was perfect and the breakfast was really good with a great selection of options. The turn down service was a lovely touch. The location of this hotel is ideal for exploring Taormina. Food and drink is expensive but worth it when you factor in the experience and level of service you receive.

Great stay at the Hotel Metropole at Taormina — lovely hotel with amazing sea views, well located in the middle of the action on the Corso Umberto. We stayed over the Easter weekend which could have been tricky, but Christian and Ambra in reception booked us some fabulous restaurants, while Grazia looked after us wonderfully during some very fast turn-around breakfasts. Highly recommended!

Perfect weekend spent at the Metropole! From check-in to check-out, we were treated warmly and professionally by every member of the team (special thanks to Giuseppina, Ambra and Lucia!). The position is ideal, right in the center of town; spectacular view from our spacious room and also from the terrace bar and breakfast area. Superior quality of service, beautiful festive holiday decorations, and all-around excellence. We look forward to returning!!

Beautiful location The service was outstanding everybody there was super nice. The breakfast was fantastic overlooking the water. The entire staff was great. I highly recommend it if you go there say hello to Amber at the front desk.
