NH Collection Taormina

We stayed at the NH for a week in July & could not have had a better experience. Rooms were beautiful (especially my elderly dad's that was a Superior Room for single Use & turned our he was allocated a room with an amazing view of Taormina (Superior Room with a View?) really lovely and very much appreciated. Breakfast was great & we really enjoyed this every day. Location fabulous, very close to the main street through the town so perfect for my dad who wasn't able to walk for long periods. The pool was lovely (a little chilly but very welcome in the July heat) although if you want to avoid direct sun then get there mid-morning to ensure you get a sunbed under shade as the pool terrace is a proper suntrap. Rooms were super nice, tea & coffee facilities, great large beds, well appointed bathrooms, quiet, felt luxurious. But what really, really made our stay was the service, all the staff at the hotel - both in reception (shout out to Alberto!) & at breakfast or at the pool or rooftop bar were super. It's the first time for a long time in a five star hotel where I have thought service was actually 5 star level! My dad made sure he tipped everyone when we left, and this wasn't something he would usually do. Everyone could not have been more helpful or friendly & accomodating, and this was especially appreciated with my dad - the concierge looked after his wheelchair & brought it out for him at a moment's notice whenever we needed it. They recommended excellent restaurants & at one point even called a place they knew to ensure they could make soup especially for my dad who was struggling to eat. I know my dad thought it was terrific and had a great time. This was so important to us as my dad was terminally ill & sadly passed away in Sept - going to Italy was one of the last things he had wanted to do & in the two months after we returned he often talked about what a fantastic time we had had there & how much he had enjoyed the trip & the hotel but most of all everyone at NH Collection, and becasue of this it is a trip we will never forget & I cannot thank you all enough. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, truly fantastic. PS Recommendations to managment: I really think more could be ,ade of the rooftop bar - at a minimum more seating! Plus it would nice to have a bar in the main reception area :-)

The NH Collection Hotel in Taormina is great. What really stands out is the staff - especially Elenora and Sarah in Guest Relations and Valeria at the Front Desk. Elenora and Sarah really understand the importance of Guest Relations - they were beyond helpful and checked in several times to ensure we were enjoying our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect and the accommodations, breakfast, etc. were very good. Fantastic all around!!

Amazing experience here. Hotel staff and facilities were extraordinary. Special mention to Valeria and Giovanni they were very attentive and catered to all our needs and had great restaurant recommendations.

Well appointed modern hotel with great views from our 6th floor room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and very accommodating. The hostess Eleanora was especially charming and friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. She took the time to really understand us and made great recommendations of what to see and where to eat.
