Although I usually don’t visit at this time of year and my activities were different, the Carlton staff, from reception to breakfast and restaurant personnel to housekeeping and the concierge was welcoming and eager to make my stay in my lovely room comfortable and luxurious.

This was the best hotel experience I’ve had in Israel. After several business visits where I gambled on boutique hotels - usually a bit more centrally located, but costing 2x and sometimes even 4-5x the price - I went with the classic choice: the Carlton. I truly have no personal connection to the hotel, but I can’t recommend it enough. The rooms are much larger - almost twice the size of a basic room in a boutique hotel. The breakfast is lavish, served with a beautiful sea view, and available for extended hours. The service was excellent, from the front desk to every member of the staff. I also added lounge access and worked from there for part of the day. It offers a great view, complimentary food and drinks, and overall a really pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are classic, the bed is comfortable, everything is clean, and every request is handled promptly. In boutique hotels, there’s always some kind of “quirk” - a design choice that doesn’t quite work, curtains that don’t fully block out the light, breakfast served only part of the time (or not at all on certain days), and other small inconveniences that come with staying at smaller properties with service limitations. I highly recommend it and will definitely return. Great value for money.

First trip to Israel. Management, concierge and hotel staff provided world class VIP treatment. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay. Full sea view of the Mediterranean and hotel amenities were terrific. We received guidance from concierge regarding all of our day trips and local sightseeing. Don’t miss out on the breakfast by the sea. We felt like we stayed with family on a luxurious vacation.
