Reviews for Inn at Lost Creek

A warm paradise in the most beautiful place. Our home away from home!

The Inn at Lost Creek has become family. This was our 3rd time staying in one of our favorite places on the planet. Not only is the location perfect on Mountain Village, directly between the Gondola, Village Express and Chondola in a ski in/ski set up - but the Inn itself is a perfect mountain lodge. Expansive fireplace, cozy lobby, amazing ski valet (thanks Carmine and Sam) who do their best to pamper you and make things easy on the way in/out to the slopes, wonderful Siam Thai restaurant by night and tasty buffet breakfast every morning and the most wonderful wait staff (we love Ms. Jen!), and the Siam Bar where the bartenders always have a smile and a story to share. Eric, our bellman/concierge/master of everything is a staple of the Inn and one of the kindest, most professional, fun loving, caring, and just awesome guys that makes every guest feel like family. The rooms are beautiful - cozy, great amenities, washer/dryer, stocked with what you need as far as basics (detergent, dryer sheets, coffee, sugar, toothpaste, etc.) and they have everything available if you need. The turnover service was kind and did an amazing job - we came home to a fresh, crisp and sparkling unit daily. Every year the Inn outdoes itself. Its culture is consistent and the people make a beautiful place just that much more perfect. We love the Inn and look forward to staying here as much as possible; and there is something so special about seeing the familiar faces - that in itself and seeing that consistency says even more about this home away from home!

Top notch experience

Unbeatable location. Steps from the Chondola and Village Express lifts. Extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff from the front desk to ski valet. Our equipment was conveniently stored and ready to use whenever needed. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Can't wait to return soon!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

From the staff who warmly greeted us as we pulled up for the first time, to the ski valet specialists, breakfast hosts, front-desk staff and others who served us...we couldn't have been more pleased with the quality treatment we received during our Telluride ski vacation at the Inn at Lost Creek. We didn't want to leave anyone out, but Eric, Jake, and Edgar were so very helpful and courteous answering our questions and greeting us in the lobby each morning (as were all the front-desk staff) ; Sam and Carmine were so very prompt with getting our skis and boots ready for the day ahead, as well as providing great tips on where to find the fresh snow and best trails (Carmine even helped our 5-year old daughter get her ski boots on!); and the restaurant staff were so cordial each morning as they served up a delicious breakfast. Our room was cozy and clean (thanks Housekeeping!), and what a beautiful view outside the living room window! Apparently there's like a 65% or more return rate of first-time customers booking another vacation at Lost Creek, and we'll most certainly add to that figure. With a short walk away to the Village Express lift, restaurants, shopping and the free Gondola for making trips to downtown Telluride, this is as good as ski in/ski out gets. Inn at Lost Creek...thanks for a great vacation! Can't wait to come back!!

Why we Love this place…

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

My husband and I arrived 2/28/25 at 7 pm for our second stay in a month. We love The Inn and have been staying here for the past 3 years. The staff/food/ski valet are what makes this hotel intimate and welcoming. But we encountered a problem as the main reservation center had booked us in the sister property, The Peaks. We've used the spa services and eaten at the Peaks, both great, but it is not The Inn where we wanted to stay. Brandon, at the front desk, was great! He understood how much we wanted to stay at the Inn. After a brief period ( where we relaxed by the fire), Brandon was able to find a room available for one night and another available for the other two. Brandon was great in notifying the Peaks and getting us settled in our room and assuring us the staff would move our belongings the next day while we were skiing. He really went above and beyond in making our stay at The Inn possible. Thank you Brandon. The next morning, Eric remembered us from last month! He greeted us with a big smile and apologized for the mix up, assured us all would be taken care of and was just so nice and fun to talk with. Carmine, the ski valet, also remembered us, and of course with a smile brought us our boots. How can you not love a place like this? Edgar also always had a big smile. It makes a huge impact on how welcoming we feel….like family! Lastly, Jake, front office manager. He made sure the transfer of monies between The Peaks was taken care of, that we were comfortable, and he also filled in at the ski valet for the day! Everyone fills in where needed and the staff is genuinely happy to help, a sign of top class accommodations. Yes, the beds and pillows are comfortable, (two kinds of pillows, one soft, one firmer). Each room has fruit, water, coffee, tea provided and every room we have stayed in has come with a complete kitchenette. The restaurant, Siam Talay, is excellent, we eat there at least once during our stay. The included breakfast buffet is very tasty, staff friendly, and the coffee is good! What more can I say but thank you to everyone at The Inn at Lost Creek for a wonderful stay and we've booked for next year!
