Horrible experience. Arrogant front desk staff that reflects any complaints. Great bones of a building but horrible staff training. Whoever is the GM had never had an ounce if humility. The “food” and beverage offerings are a joke. No real restaurant or room service, which was promised before booking. There any many better places to stay than here. This is at best a 2 star experience.

I called and spoke to the spa front desk and explained my situation and that my daughter was required to do a workout for her coach and asked about day pass options for their gym. She gave me the break down for day passes based on age and price, and then told me gym hours. I explained to her what my daughter did, her age and that my daughter just needed a tread and we’d be there tomorrow . When we arrived, we were told she couldn’t buy a pass and could only participate in classes. None of this mentioned before. I wasted a half day and private car service to get to this gym so she could work out. I called ahead of time to ensure it would be okay and yet still the staff’s lack of training or even basic knowledge of spa/gym rules caused us a major headache on vacay. If we were in a non touristy town, I’d probably be more understanding but cmon, the least this expensive hotel could do is train their staff on basics so not to inconvenience guests and potential customers. Of course when I asked to speak to a manager so that they were aware of what occurred so they could work on training, she was coincidentally unavailable. I also called and asked for her twice after this experience. My phone call checking in on guest passes for the gym was at 11:15 on 12/30. I’d encourage you to train people who work for a supposed high end establishment.

A total joke. So they advertise dining. But the food here is Horrible bad frozen lobster. And a joke of beef Wellington - hard beef chunks in bad pastry. The wines are like shopping at Safeway. Our “bartender was a nice young lady but told us she never made drinks before - and it showed. Who ever is the manger here needs to go back to school. The snow was horrible, not the resorts fault. But the attitude from the front desk girls was below par. Zero customer service. The Peaks is like taking a cheap hotel staff and telling them they are now “luxury” and they act like it. Telluride is a special place but the Peaks is not. The spa is decent - but we understand that is a different management. Stay at a different place and buy spa passes. The rooms are very small and loud. We took the stay as a loss and learning experience- take our loss as a lesson DO NOT stay here. The on line advertising lies.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. This hotel is misleading guests by advertising ski-in/ski-out access that is NOT accessible. That alone ruined the stay and defeats the entire purpose of booking this property. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive, showing zero interest in resolving problems. After prepaying, the price dropped significantly a month later, and the hotel flatly refused any compensation or adjustment. Attempts to reach the manager were ignored completely — calls were never answered or returned. This place takes your money and then disappears when there’s an issue. No accountability, no customer service, and no honesty. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Do not waste your money.

Perfect experience. Kat was at the very top of my list of favorites. The locker room, spa area and gym are well designed and maintained. Everyone was friendly and professional. Well done!

The restaurant was outstanding. We found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and speedy throughout the evening. The food was delicious. The wine was also perfectly selected and we are very grateful for your expertise in choosing it. Thanks very much to the entire team.
