The Peaks Resort & Spa

I brought my family to The peaks with me for a conference. Great location in mountain villlage Everyone was friendly and helpful Tiffany the concierge was particularly helpful and a delight to interact with The pool for the kids was 5 stars. Indoor and outdoor with an indoor slide . Perfect temperature. There was also a lap pool with 3 lanes

A Huge Disappointment When you are paying a lot of money to stay in a legendary hotel in a ski resort paradise like Telluride, there are certain things you expect. First and foremost is the service and certain amenities like a full service restaurant. Well… no restaurant and paltry breakfast options. Thank heavens for the nearby Black Iron Kitchen And Bar where the food is delicious and the service spectacular (eg Claudia, Curtis, Daniel… everyone there). The service at the Peaks is spotty: excellent concierge, Tenae, Jamie at the front desk, Jared at the bar, snd the entire ski valet service. But first and probably foremost, is the general manager who was nowhere to be found and remiss in his duties. For two consecutive days I tried to reach him to no avail. I wanted to discuss with him the situation for next year because I was considering bringing 6 or more family members back to the resort for a week. Fortunately his bad luck was my good luck. I went over to the Madeline where the service, accommodations, food, location, and amenities are spectacular and made plans with Sam to tentatively book room 433 next spring. I have never written a negative review about a resort hotel - only about ones I truly love. I am making an exception here because the Peaks deserves one.

Jaime and Daniel at the front desk took incredible care of my family at the Peaks. Check in was seamless despite the fact that our flight was very delayed. Their restaurant recommendations in town were also fantastic. We will definitely be coming back to the Peaks.

I had an excellent sports recovery massage with Brian at the Peaks Spa after a long day of skiing. I get massages fairly often, but Brian stood out as exceptional compared with many therapists I’ve seen. He was able to work through several stubborn knots that had been sitting in my shoulders and traps for quite a while (from tech neck and tennis), and I felt noticeably looser afterward. My quads and hips opening up from the massage made skiing the next day so much better! The treatment was so effective that I booked a second session during my stay and specifically requested Brian again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a true recovery-focused massage from somebody that really is tuned into muscles and joints all over the body.

The Peaks was far and above our greatest expectations. From the moment we were greeted at check in by Jaime we knew we were in for a great vacation! She was very professional and knowledgable about the area and all the amenities Peaks has to offer. We enjoyed lovely live music each night in the lobby and even attended a magic show (which I can't recommend enough). From check in to check out our stay at the Peaks was superb. Best staff, best vibes! We will be back!
