This place is past its prime and wasn’t clean
My room felt very dated and it was dirty. The toilet paper hadn’t been replaced and there were shriveled up contact lenses on the night stand I noticed when I was setting the room up. I was given a 2018 Meritage wine upon check in and it tasted very old, had limited mouthfeel that felt cheap and tasted well past its prime it it ever had one.

Great Resort Super Location just read the fine print on Hotel.com as the resort fees and taxes are not included and its pricey to start with!!

Thank you all at Carter Estates and South Coast Winery Resort and Spa. Your hospitality was felt by all are 22 members. The Rooms, the wine the whole experience was a delight. Thank you for our intimate dinner in a private room just for us. Rest assured we will come again.

Great getaway
The ultimate getaway in Temecula. So many amenities , great rooms and beautiful grounds. The walking paths through the vineyards are beautiful and so relaxing. Also has a resort style pool area and top notch spa.

Wine country ambiance but very run down
Ambiance and location is perfect. Rooms are very outdated, housekeeping is not good, cleanliness could be better for the price of the rooms. Poolside food was terrible. Very nice spa which is great with wine! Been coming here over 20 years and thought we’d give it another chance but sadly we will not be back. Chairs at the pool and very old and uncomfortable.

What a great trip! This hotel is right in the middle of SoCal wine country - a perfect location. The villas are so nice, and perfect for a relaxing, low-key weekend getaway. The food was excellent and the spa was so nice, and very accommodating. And then there is the wine - surprisingly good! Altogether a great long weekend.
