5 ⭐ as always this remains our favourite hotel in Tenerife we come regularly 4 stays last year we always have a upstairs corner suite and it never disappoints, if we ever have any issues they are rectified straight away but over the years I can count on one hand issues we have had, the staff are always welcoming warm and friendly and it’s so peaceful, looking forward to our next visit already. Thank you Sir Anthony 🥰

My partner and I stayed here for our engagement. The hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff are so friendly and kind. When we arrived to our room, we were given a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit as a gift to celebrate which was such a beautiful gesture. It’s a perfect hotel if you want a quiet peaceful holiday.

This was one review that I wasn't looking forward to. I do not like writing negative reviews but I rely on Tripadvisor when booking hotels, so thought that it was only fair to be totally trueful. I couldn't wait to experience this hotel after the fantastic reviews I read on here. The location was brilliant. I booked through BA holidays as a last minute getaway. At over 600 euros a night for half board it isn't cheap. We arrived at the hotel at around 6pm. Shortly after we was given our room. It was a very large room and the terrace overlooking the pool was great. The gardens and pool and view of the sea - beautiful. The room was really quite tatty. Plaster coming off the wall and shower room was adequate but really needed updating, it looked grubby. Bed was very large and very comfy. Loved the terrace with table and chairs and two sunbeds. We went for our evening meal in the Windsor Restaurant and it was really good. Cuttlefish starter that was amazing. Lamb cutlets were delicious too. That's where the compliments end. Breakfast was very hit or miss with service. Having to constantly ask for another tea. The menu in Windsor is very very limited, and they add 'specials' for lunch and dinner. We decided to try lunch there on our second day. We waited ages to be served as we were seated on the terrace, with the limited menu I ended up having lamb cutlets again. Served exactly the same as the evening before but without honey sauce. My husband chose the 'special' Paella. When it finally arrived it was swimming in water!!!! (Never had a paella like that and I lived in Spain for 18 years) So we decided to put it down to human error even though it wasn't very nice and ate elsewhere. Our next evening meal was even worse. My husband ordered pasta starter and I chose the crunchy prawns. His arrived twenty minutes before mine and he put it to one side. I thought he was waiting for mine to arrive - but he said it was sooo rubbery that he couldn't eat that either. It was a massive portion for a starter. He said it was like it was reheated from lunch!! - What was leftover. After the waiter tried to serve me something completely different to what I had ordered my prawns finally arrived - they were so overcooked that they too, were rubbery and very dry. We tried to explain to the staff but it began to get really embarrassing with 2/3 coming over. we felt very uncomfortable and decided to leave - having no evening meal. I went to reception and asked for a manager. No one was available until the next day - when we were due to check out. The following morning my husband didn't feel comfortable going to breakfast, it had begone being a joke - So I went alone. It was the best service I had experienced. I think they knew that we had left the evening before. But sadly the food again wasn't up to par. The mushrooms were hot and tasted great but the rest of the full English was luke warm. Now I was ready to give up and I felt so deflated - and hungry. On check out I spoke to a manager who said that there was nothing he could do as we were checking out, but maybe if we went back he could do something. When you're an older couple on holiday the meals seem to be more of an enjoyable time together and The Windsor badly failed us on that. So I don't think we would return. BA did give us a small refund - which was nice - but it really did ruin our experience. Overall the place needs attention and a re-furb - Even the menu cards in The Windsor were dirty and torn. Easily and cheaply replaceable. It felt 'unloved'

A really enjoyable time at the Sir Anthony Hotel. The staff were incredible — so friendly, helpful, and always made us feel welcome. Service all around was excellent and the hotel itself is lovely and in a great location right on the beach. A short walk to Las Americas and Los Cristianos restaurants, bars and shopping. A couple of downsides to the hotel - the food — it was okay but could be better for this level of hotel. Also, it would be nice if they provided a bottle of water in the room each day, especially considering the price. House keeping were fantastic. Cleaned the rooms well and added a nice touch with the turn down service each night. Loved the little chocolate treats they left! Overall though, we had a great stay and would definitely come back. The staff really make this place special!
