Hotel Sir Anthony

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise and far exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect, right next to the beach with easy access and yet still very private and quiet around the pool. Plenty of eating and shopping options within walking distance (we were on B&B basis) and the local area is very accessible. We upgraded our room to one with a roof terrace and plunge pool, perfect for early evening drinks and catching the last of the sun. Whilst this was really nice, it was not particularly necessary as even the standard room that we were originally allocated was fantastic, modern, comfortable, very clean, spacious quiet and stylish. We did not get much use out of the plunge pool tbh, a jacuzzi would have been a far better option as it was just too small for anything more than quick paddle. We had a couple of minor issues which the housekeeping/maintenance team sorted almost instantly, very impressive. The pool was amazing, great size, clean, warm and very inviting. The sun loungers were comfortable and the parasols provided great shade options. I really liked the service button to order drinks and food too. Towels were plentiful and the lifeguards did a great job of managing the pool area. Breakfast was always a good experience with enough self-service and served options to satisfy most. The water for the tea was my only slight annoyance as it often arrived cold but the team always replaced it quickly. We had a few pool snacks but mostly skipped lunch and ate out in the evening to sample the local restaurants which worked out well for us. The only exception was the Canarian Soul night that we were starting to regret signing up for but when it came around it was superb, the food, service and entertainment were all excellent and it had a lovely chilled sophisticated vibe, highly recommended. We had a hire car for the duration of our stay and it was never an issue to park the car at the hotel and access to the parking area was via our room key so very simple. A special thank you goes to all of the team that we interacted with during our stay, all were friendly, professional, highly competent, helpful, accommodating and cheerful. No real negatives, I was a little surprised that we were charged 100 Euros for a late check-out but equally, given that we had a very late flight, it really meant that we could fully enjoy our last day so I guess it worked out. I would not hesitate to return and although I have stayed in more luxurious hotels around the world, The Sir Anthony is perhaps the most balanced in terms of what it offers at the price point, kudos and respect to the team and thank you for a very memorable stay.

This is our fifth visit to this exquisite hotel for my wife and myself, this year we brought along our daughter and grandson with us. What a holiday,where do you begin to review this stunning hotel. Well for a start, the service you receive is top notch, never too much trouble with anything. The welcome on arrival is a brilliant start, so pleasant very worthy of its five star status. Every member of staff are so happy to welcome you, nothing is any trouble at all. Raul the lifeguard was outstanding, you couldn’t wish to meet a more pleasant and helpful guy, a real credit to the hotel. The deluxe suite we had was stunning, very clean, as is the rest of the hotel. There is a lot of attention to detail here, my advice to anyone is if you are interested in this hotel just book it, you will not be disappointed, worth every penny (or euro). Its location right on the beach sets the scene perfectly. The breakfasts are simply superb, with a choice of hot and cold food to suit everyone. What i have missed in this review I know others have mentioned. We are already looking to next year to book again. I have just returned from my first stay at the Sir Anthony with my parents and 11 year old. I cannot express how beautiful, clean, accommodating and wonderful this hotel is. Every member of staff is friendly and welcoming, nothing is ever too much and they make your stay feel special. A special mention here to Raul, what an amazing lifeguard! He went above and beyond to ensure everyone around the pool was comfortable and had what they needed. The bedrooms were spotless, smelt beautiful and the turn down service was a lovely touch. We only stayed bed and breakfast but the selection was fantastic and bespoke to whatever you could possibly want. The hotel has a relaxed, quiet atmosphere and very much a place to relax and unwind. It’s situated in the perfect location to access the beach and the main Las Americas strip. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. I very much hope to return again as I know it will be the perfect place to spend a week away

Have stayed in Sir Anthony several times and love the welcome we get when we return, The rooms are very spacious, the beds very comfortable and the pillows great (wish we could take them home) The bath and shower room brillitant and bed and bath linen spotless. The Hotel is in a good position, gate to path and beach, plenty to see and do around, Looking forward to our next visit. If you are only B & B good places to eat inthe area.

Beautiful Hotel, fabulous facilities, exceptional service, nothing was too much trouble, we loved the Superior Room with Private Terrace and Pool. Best Hotel Breakfast! Came away feeling totally spoilt. We'll definitely be back
