Rib (second) fractured due to excessive force during massage at this hotel. I reported the injury to the spa manger that day and later sent the hotel manager a copy of an MRI scan report and orthopedic consultant’s letter stating that the injury was consistent with the excessive force during the massage. I suffered extreme pain for several weeks, it hurt when I breathed and severely limited what I could do, ruining the rest of my 3 week holiday in Tenerife. Prior to the injury I had enjoyed swimming, yoga and gym each day and lots of walking. I have received no offer of compensation for the injury which was a clear act of negligence and breach of the hotel’s duty of care and it seems clear that I won’t unless I incur the cost of issuing legal proceedings. An extremely poor way to treat a hotel guest.

Whilst travelling to the Hotel Botanico & Oriental Spa Garden, we tried to figure out how many times we had visited before. Not quite sure but I think this was our 20th or 21st visit. We keep going back because we find the experience so delightful! The hotel itself is very comfortable and relaxing, the food is terrific and the staff so warm, helpful and efficient and we feel so very welcome, that we think it is hard to beat. Our visits to the Hotel are very much looked forward to and we are currently planning our next stay

From start to finish this hotel absolutely made our holiday. I had not flown anywhere in 20 years due to an extreme fear of flying, but after my father passed away I wanted to see where he used to holiday every year. Firstly al the staff leading up to our holiday were brilliant and helped me with all my questions. We booked a private transfer which was seamless and really helped after the flight. From the moment we pulled up to the hotel and were greeted by Havier to the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble. Every member of staff was absolutely fantastic. Breakfast was phenomenal with so much choice, big shout out to Mario on the cooking station most mornings. We ate at the Mediterranean restaurant on 2 evenings and they even changed the menu slightly to facilitate my dairy allergy. We also ate once at the poolside bar which was also brilliant. We stayed in a slightly bigger room (234) which was absolutely perfect. The room was a great size, as was the bathroom and changing area. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and gardens which we loved. The balcony had a table, chairs and sun lounger. Members of staff remembered our names which was always amazing how they remembered everyone. The spa (we had it included in our package) was only for adults - this is perfect as we both teach and loved a few days in peace and tranquility. The spa has a lovely outdoor pool as well as indoor and our favourite was the waterbeds which were so relaxing. SO much to do inside the hotel, but also across the road there are other restaurants, shops, a pharmacy and a supermarket. And 15-20 minute walk and you were in the town centre - although you can also get the complimentary shuttle bus the has from the hotel into town. I honestly have never stayed in such an amazing hotel with such great service. It’s going to make going to any other hotel very hard to compare! If you are looking at booking this hotel, please do not hesitate. Thank you to all the staff for making my holiday everything and more. (I do not have any negatives but just a thought moving forwards - dairy free spread would be great) Thank you again and we cannot wait to come back

I have no complaints about the hotel. The staff is charming, attentive, and friendly… especially the doorman, who has been incredibly kind and welcoming every day. A truly complete experience. It’s not a family hotel for traveling with children, but it’s absolutely recommended for those who want to enjoy an elegant atmosphere and decor, an unforgettable fragrance, a dreamy breakfast in the garden, the spa, the restaurants… Our experience has been truly excellent.

Great hotel where you can breathe tranquility and good service, the pool, there is no crowding or noise, you rest very well, just plain relaxing while sipping a nice cocktail on a sunbed , it has three à la carte restaurants with very varied dishes, good flavor, well presented and served, I really enjoyed walking through its garden which is impeccable, you'll immediately be impressed with the personal attention and excellent service
