Do yourself a favor
This place is the definition of paradise. You won't believe it. It is a small island near the reef. The snorkeling even around the island is great, but the excursions to the reef are incredible. The highlight for sure was the night snorkeling with Darvin. Seriously, it is one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. We saw octopus, eels, lots of lobsters, sharks, ray etc. I love sailing the Hobie Cat up and down the length of the island. The food is really good and so is the service (esp. Jackson). Otherwise, I lay in the hammock on the deck of my little casita perched above the ocean and watched to waves or the shooting stars. One VERY important note: If you are traveling to Belize with a minor child without both parents, you will have to have an attestation from the non-traveling parent that the child is ok to travel as well as a copy of the birth certificate. We were not told this when we made our booking and we were held up in the airport with many other travelers scrambling to get this sort of paperwork sent over.

Great small resort island experience
What a wonderful place to spend your holiday. We had such an excellent experience. The grounds are keep immaculate by the hard work of the staff. Drinks are always perfect thanks to Junior at the bar. The guided snorkel was a highlight thanks to our guide Rafi. Food was excellent with lots of variety. Overall 5 stars.

Sun and sea and cocktails
Beautiful island and wonderful service! The room is nice and has AC; also came with a private oceanside deck. Great amenities, plenty of excursions (the conch hunting in particular is amazing), and fantastic cocktails all day long. There are lawn games, kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, and lots of sea life to watch. Always something to do, or do nothing!

Best in Belize
Thatch is the best in Belize. The staff are incredible. The food is great. And absolutely everything is taken care of for you. Belly up to the bar and ask for something fruity and boozey and you will not be disappointed. We loved it so much we went back again!

Amazing Staff at a Beautiful Resort
My wife and I had an amazing time during our stay here. The staff are all incredible and amenities wonderful. We especially had a great time out on the water with Raffi and Heido and also at the bar with Jr. We highly recommend the stargazing cruise as well as snorkeling.
