The Lodge at Tiburon

Hotel is clean and beds are comfortable. In a very safe part of the Bay Area. The town of Tiburon is really cute, with cafes and shops right on the water.. there is also a ferry to San Francisco within a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Bonus…Free Starbucks coffee in the morning.

The Lodge has a kind and helpful staff, great beds, and rooms with windows that open to let in the fresh sea air. It's a great place to stay!

The Lodge at Tiberon was the perfect stay for us. Right in the heart of Tiberon, with restaurants and stores just a short walk from the hotel. We requested extra blankets, no problem, more coffee, absolutely. Staff was super friendly and accommodating and parking was a breeze with plenty of available spaces so loading and unloading was super easy. There is also a restaurant and bar on site which was convenient if you wanted to stay on site or have room service. Pool area was super clean. While the hotel may a little 'dated'(it is a lodge after all) they more than made up for it with cleanliness and amazing staff.

First we were assigned a dark and smelly room in a back corner of the building and then had to take long discussions and complaints to finally get the room we booked per photo and description of their website. Their website also describes niceties as daily wine hour, daily evening s'mores & more, free bike rentals, plush bath robes and such (even remember something about a welcome drink, but cannot find where that was said anymore). These things were a reason to book our stay as part of my birthday trip — so it was really disappointing to see that nothing of that was offered. The front desk person did not know anything, said there is nothing of that. — They cancelled our resort fee but we rather had the nice and joyful experience of these amenities, which were also stated in our booking confirmation. The room we finally got was nice and bright, the location of the hotel is excellent, especially when you want to take a ferry to Angel Island.

Beautiful lodge and location! Such fun. We hiked to St. Hilary’s Church and onto the open space land above. The town walk/bike/run trail is amazing! Malibu Farm and Sam’s Anchor Cafe are delightful!
