We spent 5 nights at the hotel as a family, celebrating a special occasion, in 2 separate rooms. The hotel is located next to Shiodome, which is a 10-minute stroll in a lovely underpass from Shimbashi station, which means you can take a 1-hour train from Narita airport to Shimbashi and walk to the hotel quite easily. When entering the hotel's building, you are met with a lovely red sculpture and staff direct you to the elevators, which take you to the hotel's lobby on the 28th floor. We arrived around noon, but since our rooms were not ready, we had to wait almost 4 hours in the Club Lounge on the 37th floor. Finally, around 4PM, our rooms were ready. We booked regular rooms using points and as Diamond were upgraded to a regular room with a view (3405) and to a suite with a view (3433). The regular room was lovely with a view to the nearby Hamarikyu garden. It featured 2 soft beds, a TV, a large safe, a minibar, a long couch stretched along the window, a desk and chair and a small coffee table. The large bathroom featured a big tub, 2 sinks, a shower with a powerful water pressure and a simple Toto toilet. During the first day of our stay, there were no hot water in the shower, until a technician came and took care of that. The bathroom amenities were the lovely Mojave Ghost by Byredo. The suite was surprisingly small, with a living room with a couch, TV, table and guest's toilets. The bedroom was somehow cramped with a king size bed, a chaise longue, a TV, a large safe and a minibar. There was a large walk-in closet that could be accessed from the living room and the bathroom. The bathroom featured 2 sinks, a shower and bath tub, a simple Toto toilet and a small TV. There was also a nice note and cake from the hotel's management for our special occasion. The hotel featured a lovely pool and also a nice Onsen. We had 4 out of 5 of our breakfasts at Cerise, on the 28th floor, and they were truly disappointing. I've written a separate review about it. The Club Lounge was disappointing, as it was always cramped and full. During the weekend, you actually need to reserve a time slot for the evening cocktails, but it was very busy during weekdays, too. The lounge is spread across 2 sides of the building, one facing the gardens and bay and the other facing the nearby buildings. It featured all day cold and hot drinks and some nuts. Breakfast at the lounge was minimal and could be compared to a classic continental one. Afternoon tea between 3PM and 5PM featured tiny cookies and sandwiches. But the biggest disappointment came during the evening cocktails. Scheduled between 6PM and 8PM, it was a constant battle to get near the small buffet to grab something to eat, as the place was literally swarming with other guests, trying to do the same. The small buffet featured 2-3 hot dishes, some salads and local treats. There was also some fruits, alcohol, but no cocktails. Everything was self service. Most of the staff at the lounge seemed constantly stressed and overwhelmed by the amount of guests. The only one that made us feel really comfortable was Peter. Bottom line - this is an OK hotel, but we never managed to get the real Conrad experience, due to most of the services not fitting the amount of guests and some serious understaffing at breakfast and at the Club lounge. Such a high-end hotel (with high prices to match) should've done much better.

My wife and I stayed five nights at the Conrad Tokyo Hotel. It was a a wonderful stay. The lobby, rooms, bar and onsite restaurants are impressive. Hotel staff are very courteous, helpful, and professional. We also dined at the onsite China Blue restaurant which is a higher end Chinese restaurant. The food, drinks and especially the tea are excellent. Special acknowledgment to Waitress Nozomi and Sommelier Supervisor Fuko Oyoshihara who made the dining and our stay very special. Both of them are exceptional employees. Great job!

A beautiful hotel, a cut above even for Conrad brand. Spacious room with twin beds, and a large bathroom with bath and shower options. The hotel was busy, but the room was always quiet. We were super happy and this was not one of the premium rooms. The breakfast is outstanding. The gym was small as usual for such a hotel, but still good.

Last October 2024 we found ourselves captivated by the Conrad Tokyo. Those are the exact words we used in our review last year. Well, one year later we returned for only three days, and if a superlative to “captivated” exists, we’d use it. Going back to Japan, specifically the Conrad Tokyo, honestly felt as if we were returning home — to a good, caring home. The joyous greetings and outstanding service are to be commended. We were impressed that even after one year, we were remembered by so many at the Conrad Tokyo. We did reach out to the Conrad Tokyo about our return, and they took note of our booking. The attention to personalized detail was amazing. We’d gasp at finding our names on notecards, initials on washcloths, handwritten welcome notes with treats. There were everyday instances that we reinforced the feeling we were well looked after. Our meals, along with service at Cerise, Kazahana, and the lounge, were exquisite. We are sad our stay was brief, but that is outweighed by the excellence we encountered from literally everyone the moment we stepped in to the last second we said our goodbyes to the general manager and director of operations. The Conrad Tokyo is conveniently located near the Ginza shopping area, Tsukiji Fish Market, Kabukiza Theatre, and Hamarikyu Gardens, and is perfectly situated for exploration. The concierge staff are incredibly helpful, ready to guide you or book your adventures. As a Hilton Diamond member, we were pleasantly surprised to yet again receive an upgrade. If you have the chance to become a Diamond Member. Ways to get there are with stays, Amex Aspire, and Hilton Grand Vacations Elite Premier status to name a few. During our previous visit we had the chance to met Neil McInnes, the Regional General Manager for East Japan and General Manager of Conrad Tokyo. This trip, we had coffee with him and shared our appreciation for the remarkable service and the gem that this hotel represents in one of the world's largest cities. As with any stay, if something is amiss, ask the hotel to address the situation. We’re fortunate that our stays have been delightful. The Conrad Tokyo is a destination in itself that should not be missed— we never wanted to leave. This is our fourth trip to Tokyo and second stay at this property. The Conrad Tokyo will be our number one choice when we come back.

Kazahana, Japanese restaurant at Conrad Tokyo: Hiryu, the shift leader, went above and beyond. He generously shared his knowledge of Japanese cuisine and even showed me some of the traditional cooking tools used to prepare the kaiseki meal I ordered. His passion and attention to detail truly elevated the entire experience. Yukari, the supervisor, was incredibly warm and friendly, making me feel genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. Kudos to the back of house as well—the craftsmanship and care behind each dish were exceptional. This was the most holistic dining experience I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back when I visit Japan again!
