Reviews for Conrad Tokyo

Exemplary Service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Look no further when searching for a hotel near GINZA. This beautiful and clean hotel next to the Bay is perfect for relaxation and exceptional service. The hotel is connected to a Sky Bridge that takes you toward GINZA, it’s less than 16 minutes and 10 minute walk to Don Quiote. The hotel has everything you need: indoor pool, gym, spa, bar lounge and 3 restaurants. The room and hotel is very clean. The Conrad staff from the front desk agents, the servers, the executive lounge staff and the housekeepers are always welcoming, very friendly, and they all make you feel like you are royalty. The staff is very attentive and remembers everything. They remembered we like hot green tea and sparkling water, and next thing I know it’s in front of me. The executive lounge is well worth it. They serve breakfast, a mid-afternoon tea, and evening drinks with appetizers. We will definitely come back to this Conrad.

Pleasant stay in Tokyo near Ginza

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Ginza. It was also the only one I could find with a spacious room and king sized bed on short notice. The hotel is grand and modern with a very dark and moody vibe. When you enter on the first floor, you have to take an elevator to the 28th floor where reception is. Then the rooms are down a long hall and another elevator ride and another hall to your specific room. If getting in and out of your room quickly is important, this is something to keep in mind. I had a great view of the city, which I think most rooms have. The bathroom was spacious though the shower was small considering the amount of space, but the water pressure was great as well as the tub. And the bidet and heated toilet seats made trips to the bathroom special. The bed was comfortable and the lounge sofa next to the window was a bit stiff but provided great seating and a good napping spot. The staff was polite enough but none were overly friendly, not sure if that is just cultural but enough that one would notice. I noticed the language barrier was significantly higher than other countries but we got by. If I was visiting Tokyo again, I would pick a hotel closer to or in Ginza, but the Conrad was a great choice and my stay was very pleasant. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there and recommend it.

The best part of my Tokyo visit. Fantastic hotel with a lovely service culture

What a hospitable enjoyable stay. Wonderful staff made the trip perfect! Beautiful high floor lobby on 28th floor. Warm and kind Japanese welcome. Beautiful bay view suite upgrade. Fantastic breakfast spread. So delicious. Room so comfortable and relaxing. Great location and easy to use subway too. Kazahana had the best Teppanyaki experience I had in Japan. Wonderful chef and food quality excellent! So enjoyed that return on a second night. One of best meals I ever enjoyed. The stars of the staff who just are world beating are Peter and Yusuke in the Executive Lounge. Definitely so outstanding, kind and hospitable. Warm and welcoming. Working very hard so far beyond the call of duty to make me the guest feel warmly valued, welcomed and happy. True Japanese kindness, politeness and hospitality. The two deserve recognition for being the best and thanks so much for looking after me and making my trip to Tokyo so wonderful. Amazing people! All staff were truly wonderful and kind. The overall experience was really good and this has made me decide to return to Japan for Cherry Blossom season. Keep up the hospitality! Thanks!

One of the best and highly recommended in Tokyo

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

One of my favorite hotels in Tokyo. Stayed here multiple times and expect to stay many times in the future. Good location, right by the Shiodome train station and part of a commercial building that has several retail stores. The bay and city views are great and service is consistently good. They put in a special effort to recognize and treat their repeat customers especially well. Peter san, Fumi san and pretty much everyone in the staff are exceptionally good. It got all the amenities of a 5 star hotel like nice lobby, spa, gym, lounge, 24x7 room service, good Conceirge and is usually priced reasonably. Rooms are getting a bit dated but I believe they are working on a renovation plan. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tokyo.

A+ All the way

Our stay at the Conrad Tokyo was fantastic. The Bay View Room room was modern, beautiful, and spotless with a view of Tokyo Bay & the beautiful Green Hamarikyu Gardens. The staff were absolutely polite and helpful. Breakfast service was a delight. Very attentive and great variety of tradition western items and Japanese fare to start every morning of our stay. The location is good — we are right above the Odedo Line which is convenient for exploring and connecting to different parts of Tokyo. We were traveling for my birthday. Mieko at the Concierge desk was able to set us up at a fantastic Teppanyaki restaurant which was incredible and unforgettable! The hotel even sent a small delicious chocolate cake with a candle to my room! She was helpful and knowledgeable about best ways to get around Tokyo and how we should get to Kyoto (2nd leg of trip) Well worth the price for the stay.
