Fairmont Tokyo

Wow!! What a hotel. From the moment you arrive until you leave, the staff make you feel very welcome. Concierge staff are the most welcoming of any hotel I’ve stayed at. This hotel is up there as one of the most luxurious hotels I’ve been to. This hotel is above my expectations. This hotel makes other 5 star hotels feel like 3 star hotels: this should be rated much higher than it is. I would definitely stay here again if I am back in Tokyo. We stayed at the Fairmont Tokyo for four nights. Brand new hotel just over a year old. The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are spacious, modern and luxurious. Splendid spa area. The lobby magnificent. Service outstanding. I would give this hotel 10/10. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed here and really appreciated the beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally clean rooms. The rooms are generously sized, very comfortable, and the in-room amenities are some of the best I have ever seen the overall service could be improved. While some members of the team were warm and helpful, the level of service was not as consistent as we expected from a luxury property. The concierge service, in particular, needs improvement. We found that the assistance and recommendations could have been more proactive and better organized.

We stayed here for 2 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We came from Tokyo Disney Resort and arrived at Hamamatsucho station. The signage from the station to the hotel was not too clear but you would be fine with Google map. The path from the station to the hotel was under covered walkway and it is easy to navigate it even with bringing your own luggage. This made the property an excellent option in the heart of the city. Check in was quick and efficient. I was assisted by a friendly staff and she was kind enough to allocate us a room before the allotted check in time. The view from the lobby was spectacular. We spent most of our time exploring Tokyo and did not have too much enjoying the hotel facilities. Our Bay View King room was wonderful. It was spacious and beautifully designed with the cool and modern aesthetic that Fairmont brand is known for around the world. The view from our room was Odaiba skyline, which was prettier especially at night. Our bed was dreamy, with fresh linens and top notch pillows. I liked the design of the room. Upon entering, there was a hall with artworks and wardrobe on your right end. And you immediately found two large wash basins on your left, just in front of the wardrobe. And there was a dividing door that separate the bedroom and the bathroom. So, you literally enter a powder room / bathroom before the bedroom (I hope you get what I mean). I thought it was a smart design. Bath linens and amenities were high quality. Water pressure, WiFi and air conditioning were spot-on. As an Accor Platinum member, we received complimentary breakfast which we gratefully accepted. I thought the food quality was great. There were Asian, Japanese and Western options, as well as made to order menu. Their coffee and Matcha latte was really good too. Recommended. Service throughout our stay was superb. Every single staff we encountered were welcoming, joyful and incredibly helpful. We loved our time here and we should have stayed longer. We are so happy we chose this beautiful nest high above the city for our time in Tokyo.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Fairmont Tokyo. From the get go, the service we got from all the staff was amazing and faultless. The hotel is new and very modern. It is located next to a subway station and a number of cafes and shops. A 10 minute drive to Tokyo tower. The room was really spacious with a separate shower and bath, lots of amenities etc. The bed was really comfortable and big. The view overlooking tokyo and its tower was phenomenal. The pool are was amazing with a normal pool, heated jacuzzi and also another heated jacuzzi outdoors. There were good seating areas and staff were always present to help in anyway possible. They have cold plunge pools and steam rooms too. The areas were always super clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone due to its luxury and close proximity to many places such as Ginza.
