We booked this hotel for its convenient location and relatively small size also the Four Seasons brand gives us confidence in a distant city. We were not surprised by the welcome and service that we received from arrival to departure. We have a feeling that Jens the general manager has not been here for too long but his approach is very friendly yet also very professional and this is evident with the attitude of his excellent staff. The overwhelming desire to please yet remain somewhat discreet can cause a little barrier at times but this will improve quickly. If you require excellent service without the hustle and bustle then I am sure this is unbeatable

Our family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights during the spring cherry blossoms. This small hotel is right next to Tokyo Station making it convenient to access JR trains or subway. We were greeted as we stepped off Narita Express as the bellhop took our suitcases and guided us to the hotel. We were checked in quickly and given room 614 (2 queens) which had a marvelous view. The bathroom was a little small but very large by Japanese standards. The beds were divine. Pros - Phenomenal central location as easy walk to Ginza and numerous restaurants nearby - extremely attentive staff who were genuinely helpful - Well equipped gym with views Cons - Service and food quality at Maison was substandard. This was the lowlight of our stay. On our first night since we arrived late, we had dinner at Maison. My wife and daughter’s dinners arrived quickly yet my son and I had to wait another 30 minutes for our dishes to arrive. My wife and daughter simply left while we were waiting. Similarly, at breakfast, I was always waiting for coffee or someone to take my order yet it appeared that other tables were served quickly. It seems they were understaffed albeit Neela and her Nepalese colleague were great. That said, food quality was mediocre. I would return simply because of location but they need to radically improve Maison.

It was a one night stopover en route to Karuizawa from Tokyo Station. The Concierge looked after everything for us from purchasing the tickets, escorting us to the train and welcoming us back. Suggested and booked our dinner. Best service!~
