A Sushi Expierence

Words cant describe the level of service and flavors we expierenced. We had sashimi all across Japan, and the Master Chef preparation at Roku Roku were on a different level.

Superb accommodations to ease us into Japan

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

This was a great starter hotel for us on our first trip to Japan. Attentive staff and great accommodations. The breakfast was delicious. We aren’t globalist so it was a little pricey. I would probably skip out on it next time given we don’t really each much for breakfast normally.

Must stay in Tokyo

My home in Tokyo, the GHT is an amazing hotel. The location is central and fun, the service level is world class, and the hotel restaurants are destinations in themselves.

True 5 star experience for family travel!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Stayed at Grand Hyatt Tokyo for family travel to Tokyo with a baby. Highly recommend this place for great balance of luxury comfortable stay with family/baby friendly amenities and ambiance. Breakfast was one of the best I had in Tokyo with staffs taking a great care for the baby. Roppongi Hills area is very stroller friendly and easy access to intl' premium shopping + local shops nkt to mention great offering of F&B options. Prices can ne slightly higher but you get what you pay for.

Reservation cancelled without notice — Globalist status meant nothing

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I had a confirmed booking at Grand Hyatt Tokyo that the hotel cancelled without any prior notice. When I followed up, I was told I could rebook — at a significantly higher rate than my original reservation. I am a Hyatt Globalist, which is supposed to count for something in terms of recognition and service. In this case, it counted for nothing. No proactive communication, no goodwill gesture, no honouring of the original rate. Just a unilateral cancellation and an invitation to pay more. If a property is willing to do this to a top-tier loyalty member, think carefully before booking here — particularly on non-refundable rates or for trips where you actually need the room secured.
