The hotel itself is in a great location in the heart of downtown Tokyo very close to Memory Lane and other famous spots. I also appreciate that they have a 7-Eleven market on the basement floor, which was extremely convenient on late nights. However, the rooms themselves are extremely small, with even smaller bathrooms. I also did not find the beds very comfortable at all and all the little things like the towels in the bathroom and the sheets themselves could really use an upgrade in quality, they are way below 4 star quality. I understand this is more of a business travel hotel than a luxury, but still, there could be some improvements. The staff was friendly overall, but the hotel itself could also use some interior upgrades and refinishing to stay competitive. I would say my favorite part of the stay was the breakfast buffet downstairs, which was pretty nice although did lack in options.

We chose this hotel expecting a 5-star experience, but unfortunately it fell short of those expectations. The location in Shinjuku is convenient, but the rooms feel quite dated and don’t reflect the level of quality you would expect at this price point. The overall experience felt more like a standard, functional stay rather than something elevated. Service was also inconsistent. While nothing was outright negative, it lacked the warmth and attentiveness that Japan is typically known for. With the high volume of guests, the experience felt more routine than personal. Overall, it’s not a bad option, but it doesn’t stand out—especially when compared to other properties in Tokyo that offer a more modern and refined experience.

Very good functional hotel and a useful landing spot for the first nights in Tokyo. Food is typical of a tour hotel, perfectly adequate but nothing special. Service is very efficient. Beds are good and there’s a nice touch of a dehumidifier in each room. We had connecting rooms for the family so that was really useful. 7-11 in the basement has decent snacks open all night good for the jet lag . Overall quality of the hotel is very good and happy to recommend

This hotel is in a great location. A two minute walk to Shinjuku station where you can access all of Tokyo. We had 3 large single beds. Room was big with a nice view of the city. Bathroom was great with extras like razors, toothbrush, hairbrush etc. Lots of places to eat. We ate in the same one twice and we were all happy with our food. The 7eleven on site is great. Also if you stay in the hotel you get a discount in the bars and restaurants.

Wow- this hotel is like a resort. It truly has everything you need and we only found out about the bakery and 7-11 on 2F the last night. Do yourself a favour and book at least a deluxe floor room that includes access to the 47th floor Sky Plaza lounge and is in the main renovated tower. Definitely use the iprefer website and kids over 6 are considered adults when you book (standard in Japan). We had a deluxe triple which was perfect for our family and our friends booked the same. Beds (though all separate) were very comfortable (firm) and the internet was fast. The bathroom had every amenity you could wish for and the warm Toto toilet and shower/bathtub had perfect pressure and temps. The view from the Sky Lounge Ibasho is gorgeous and you won’t need to go to any touristy observation towers. The lounge, on 1 side, is quite full of babies and little children during the day (great for families with young children) but is otherwise a very relaxing place in the evenings where you can also catch the light show from the Tokyo government buildings. There are lots of restaurants- the $50 CAD buffet breakfast is worth a try or 2. Everyone was so very nice and efficient including the staff at the bell captain desk who assisted with booking our taxis (metered) to Disney Sea (about $100 CAD) and Shinagawa train station ($60 taxi) so we could ride the bullet Train Shinakansen to Kyoto. We used the free shuttle service back from Disney but had to wait until 21:55 as expected from the website. We also appreciated the hotel stamp for the kids’ stamp book. The hotel is walking distance to shops and restaurants and Shinjuku station. It was very easy and affordable to get to the hotel by buying Bus tickets at either airport for the Airport Limo Bus as this is one of the hotels it goes to. Keio plaza was perfect for us and I would totally recommend it and return!
