The Park Hyatt spans from the 39th to 52nd floor in the glass tower designed by Kenzo Tange. It is one of the best hotels in Tokyo and is a legend, best known for its starring role in Lost in Translation alongside Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. It offers flawless service, views of Mount Fuji and one of the most atmospheric cocktail bars in the world. The guest rooms at Park Hyatt Tokyo are spacious and serene, each offering walk-in closets and high-tech amenities. All guestrooms are appointed with original artwork, exquisite woods and fabrics and books for reference and pleasure.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We stayed at the Park Hyatt Tokyo in 2024 and we had a wonderful stay, so we were excited to see how it looked after the recent renovation. The rooms were beautiful. They seem to have had the bulk of the updates, but the decor was extremely tasteful and modern. The food at Girandole was excellent and the service was impeccable as always. Tomomi was wonderful, and my entire family loved the property and we hope to stay there again soon!

Our family has traveled to Tokyo many times and we always like to try new hotels. This time, we tried the Park Hyatt Tokyo, as I am a Globalist with Hyatt. While I was not upgraded, the room was still very spacious and had more than adequate space for my wife and me. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Shibuya Station, so it's not the best location, but they have a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes to the station. We were able to use this with no problems, but it is much more convenient to have a station nearby. The room has a walkthrough bathroom with a separate toilet and shower/bath. There are two sinks and a very spacious closet for clothes. The bathroom was clean and had great water pressure and temperature. The bed area was very large and the bed was extremely comfortable after a long day of walking. There was a lot to offer in the small cabinet with your tea, coffee and water. The view from the room was awesome, especially at night. We did not use any of the amenities besides the breakfast, which was amazing. Make sure to try the Japanese breakfast at least once, as it is very good. While the hotel is very luxurious, I am not sure I would stay here again due to the location. I love that the Conrad Tokyo is connected directly to a station, so you can come and go as you please without waiting for a shuttle. Sometimes the shuttle is full and you have to wait another ½ hour for the next one.

The hotel and service are great. Not quite Four Seasons or Montage, but they will go out of their way to greet you and accommodate whatever you need. They treasure quiet and calm. This is no Sheraton or Hilton and much nicer. You will love this hotel if you hired a personal driver for your stay which many people do. Location is the worst part of the hotel. I liked how a park and basketball court (non regulation) was across the street. There are convenience stores (a must) across the street, at the nearby hotel, one in the basement that opens late and closes early (some restaurants down there too) and a 7-Eleven around the corner about 4 blocks away. But there is nothing else. You cannot just walk to a bevy of restaurants and shops. You are not centrally located to dept stores, food areas, or local shops and retail. It sucks to not be able to walk out and eat wherever. You need to take a shuttle to the subway. Laundry is a 5-8 minute drive because the hotel only does per item washing. They literally charge you per item to wash, like dry cleaning style for your laundry, and not by load. If you have kids younger than 16 they are not allowed in the gym even with parental supervision. I don’t know any hotels in the U.S. with that policy. That was inconvenient. They do allow swimming for kids starting at 8am which was great. They provide towels, swim caps and goggles. The water is always warm. The views are amazing. There’s no hot tub. The room was excellent. The double queen room was spacious with a living room area, table, bench, and multiple other seating options. The bathroom had double sinks with premium products, a walk in closet area, and separate toilet. The shower and tub was also large. It’s big for a room in Japan. The view of the city was great and you are higher up than most buildings. We hired a personal driver so this hotel was great. A driver is actually cheaper than using taxis and uber all day. If we didn’t, we would not have enjoyed this hotel as much.

The Corner Suite was absolutely stunning, and the service we received throughout our stay was exceptional. We were especially impressed by the breathtaking views from our room, as well as the spectacular scenery from the New York Bar. These experiences made our visit even more memorable and truly exceeded our expectations.
