Reviews for Park Hyatt Tokyo

Great stay at Tokyo

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This is best Hyatt hotel in Tokyo. It located in a high tower building, great view from my room, the morning breakfast is great, well prepared, especially it provided a Japanese style breakfast. The room is big, quite, inside is newly upgraded, very comfortable. We got two Sumo orange as welcome gift, my favorite fruit.

A special hotel that lives up to expectations

Amazing hotel experience all around. Great customer experience and the views are tough to beat, especially from the pool and gym area. Location is convenient to all things Tokyo. We were with our teen boys - both spent a lot of time at the pool. Truly a respite in the city.

Awesome two nights stay. Will stay again.

Awesome two-night stay at Park Hyatt Tokyo. The hotel was beautiful, newly renovated, well maintained with stunning views, and fantastic services. Our room was clean, good size with beautiful view. When we first arrived, we were a bit lost, a fortunate encounter with a young lady who kindly offered her help and walked us to the entrance of the hotel. It turned out she was an off duty hotel employee and we truly appreciated her assistance. Upon arriving at the hotel entrance, we were warmly greeted by Mr. Sanjay who was very friendly and professional. He assisted with our luggage and guided us to the check-in area. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. Since we arrived early and our room was not yet ready, we returned to the hotel at 3pm. Upon our return, we received another warm welcome by the Front office manager, Mr. Masamitsu Yamamoto who took the time to get to know us and let us know we could reach out to him if we needed anything. Additionally, we were thankful to Ms. Marcie who escorted us to our room, and explained its features patiently and clearly. Check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. We also appreciated the help of a female staff member on March 16, our check-out day, who assisted with our luggage on short notice-sorry didn’t get her name. Overall, the hospitality and professionalism of the hotel staff made our stay truly memorable! Note: Convenient location. The hotel is located approximately 20 minutes walk to Shinjuku station. It is 2 short blocks away, 5 minutes walk to a bus stop where you can take #51 to Shibuya, about 20 minutes ride, depends on traffic. The last bus stop is Shibuya bus terminal.

Improvement needed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Location: If you are looking for actions and interactions, this may not work. This is little away from the action Hotel: It does have the name. However, the customer service for the name is not there yet. Seems to need more training for it Breakfast: It is made to order and buffet for bread and fruits. Nothing special Front Desk (Check in): All seems to ok but some of staff need to learn what the hotel offer. We got what we wanted but we were told the amenity we were looking for was not offered. If you are expecting the Park Hyatt service, you may not experience them yet. After renovation, it seems it needs more staff training.

Great 5 star hotel

Great first time stay at this hotel. I normally stay in Ginza on business trips because of the central location but I wanted to try the hotel after their renovation even though it was further out. Tasteful touches through out the hotel ( I splurged on suite ) room. My kid remarked about the tasteful art pieces in the room which I have to agree to. Breakfast was fabulous. I would highly recommend the Japanese breakfast. Staff were courteous. Slightly inconvenient because it’s not close to a subway station so you have to use taxis a little more ( I would recommend. The Go taxi app as this was helpful) I would definitely return.
