One of the city’s most luxurious hotels superbly located in Yurakucho, opposite the Imperial Palace and Hibiya Park, The Peninsula Tokyo offers commanding views of the Japanese capital skyline. The Hotel is within minutes' walk of the shopping capital of Ginza and Shinbashi. What sets the Peninsula Tokyo apart from other international luxury hotels is its focus on creating a modern Japanese ambience, whereas other hotels adopt a standard international décor. The Peninsula Tokyo’s interior and exterior is contemporary, yet echoes Japan’s rich heritage and culture in its design. The Peninsula Tokyo pampers its guests with a spa center and a fitness club with a swimming pool and sun loungers, overlooking the Imperial Palace Gardens. Ryokan-inspired rooms are simple and streamlined, designed with the idea of "techno-ergonomic-user-friendly", so every control and switch is located precisely where it is required so its use is intuitive and effortless. The granite and cherry wood bathrooms with large soaking tubs will make your stay a pleasant relax.

We had an outstanding stay at Peninsula Tokyo. I love the decor, the views, but what really makes the property stand out is the food and the staff. We loved getting such a wonderful room service breakfast and the breakfast buffets at Peter. We loved Peter and Zuicho for dinner, the lobby for afternoon tea (which we had for dinner), and room service (which we had a few nights - lots of great options.) We swam in the pool multiple days. It just served as a great home for our family, a great base for our adventures in Tokyo. Any time we needed help the staff was there to respond quickly. I liked that we received what felt like Japanese hospitality - some other hotels employ a lot of people who are not actually from Japan. The Pen chat feature is awesome - it’s so convenient and the staff is so helpful! We used it to booked some great adventures via the concierge desk. Also…super spacious, and well thought-out rooms with huge closets and great sitting and dining areas. Just everything you want in a city property, great location where we could walk out right into areas with good shops and things to do. Highly recommend!

The Peninsula Tokyo was my first experience with the Peninsula brand, and it absolutely delivered. The standout feature of this hotel is, without question, the service. While every interaction with the hotel staff was warm and professional, the concierge team deserves special recognition. They assisted us with restaurant reservations, tickets, recommendations, and even secured a reservation at Bar Centifolia, one of Tokyo’s most sought-after bars. Their ability to make seemingly impossible bookings happen significantly elevated our stay. The location is exceptional. Situated in Marunouchi, directly across from the Imperial Palace gardens and within walking distance of Ginza, excellent restaurants, bars, shopping, and public transportation, it is difficult to imagine a better base for exploring Tokyo. The wellness facilities are another highlight. The pool and jacuzzi offer beautiful views over the city and the Imperial Palace area, creating a relaxing retreat after busy days of sightseeing. As for the hotel itself, it has a distinctly classic luxury feel. Some areas would certainly benefit from modernization, but rather than detracting from the experience, the timeless elegance became part of the charm. It felt like stepping into the golden age of luxury hospitality a sophisticated and refined atmosphere that is increasingly rare today. This stay left me genuinely excited to explore more Peninsula properties around the world. A wonderful first introduction to the brand and an easy recommendation for anyone visiting Tokyo.

Wonderful stay again at the best hotel in Tokyo. Very efficient concierge that handled all my restaurant reservations two months before I arrived. Excellent room reservations that handled my room requests via email until I had my perfect two rooms for me and my family. I want to commend the service by Anli, Gurung and Shin. Anli handed all my luggage and the items I had stored in the freezer of the hotel. Very well done. Gurung handled my check in of my second room very well and arranged all my requests. Shin welcomed me on my first night of arrival and every day after that and assisted me in bringing up my shopping daily. I will only stay at peninsula Tokyo! Am booking another stay here this August!

For our two week Japan trip we hosed for the last four nights the Peninsula in Tokyo. We stayed in other three 5 star hotels before during our Japan trip and went for the first time to a Peninsula. Location: Perfect for a Tokyo sightseeing trip! Directly in Marunouchi next to the Palace and next to Otemachi and Ginza. So you have plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance, as well es those beautiful areas of Tokyo and the Tokyo station. Right below the peninsula there is a metro station, it is about 15 minutes door to door to Shibuja and all the sightseeing activities over there, 10 minutes to Tokyo tower (by metro) and 12 minutes to TeamLab Planets (by Taxi). Also taxis are very easy to get with their great Portier team, max waiting time literally 1 minute! 10/10 Design and installation: Very old money chic design I would say. The lobby is really elegant and beautiful, nice art piece and chandelier, very instagramable. Overall 5 restaurants and a beautiful top floor bar. Very good SPA with a huge with nice view over the imperial palace gardens! We loved the huge swimming pool to really be able to swim after a long walking day throughout Tokyo and the huge and really warm jacuzzi with the amazing view! I would only not give full 10 points due to the age of the installation. 8/10 Service: Is really top notch! You have guaranteed check in at 6:00am at peninsula and late check out, which can be a game changer if your connected to an international flight. The concierge team is literally 100000 out of 10! They helped on very short notice with very difficult reservations for example at Centifolia Bar, with the most famous bartender world wide currently, or at Shibuja Skywalk as well as a same day dining reservation at the famous Kill Bill restaurant, unique! Nice check in, quick and efficient and when we came back from our first Tokyo walking tour we had a bottle of champagne (champagne not sparkling wine!) and sweets waiting for in in our room for our anniversary! Also English is on a top level at the peninsula, where we struggled before especially in Kyoto. The Portier team makes sure the taxi drivers knows where to bring you, escort you with umbrella during rain to the taxi (1-2 meters but even though, this is 5 star services). We also loved the efficiency and discretionary of the room service. You have like a pick up box where the room service team can pickup for example your laundry without entering your room! 10/10 Rooms: First of all, the rooms are huge, especially for Tokyo were also 5 star hotels usually use to have smaller rooms than in other big cities. We had a premier room in floor 16 with a nice skyline view and loved it. Very chic and elegant old money design, huge bath with a nice tub and a huge walking closet which we loved to store perfectly all our shoppings. Even though I only give 9 out of 10 points because of the elder design. 9/10 Food: Very good breakfast! You choose from a main dish (mostly egg or sweet warm dishes) that are accompanied with fruit, Joghurt, bakery as well as hot and cold beverages. After 4 days it felt like an it of the same, especially the side dishes, probably there could be more variation, especially if you are in such a foodie city like Tokyo. But overall top quality breakfast, especially the matcha fluffy pancakes! Regarding the restaurants we didn’t try them because of lack of vegetarian options which was a minus for us. There so good vegetarian tempuras, soba, udon or ramen spots in Tokyo why we chose to eat outside. Also the sushi option is only Omakase option available which was no Orion because we cannot eat lo seafood. The bar on the other hand located at the top floor on floor 24th floor is amazing! Nice vieees over the Tokyo skyline at this elegant city area, top Argo e and really good drinks, we went twice during our 4 night stay. Overall I would give a 9/10 review with following highlights: - location - spacious and elegant rooms - overall elegant atmosphere - top second e Room for improvement - dining option as described - check in is stills done at the reception, usually you have now at 5 star hotels a nice counter with a sofa where you can sit and enjoy a welcome drink - some renovation soon I would definitely recommend the Peninsula hotel in Tokyo and will come back soon.

Luxurious hotel with wonderful staff. The concierges fine tuned restaurant recommendations many months in advance and were able to get us in Michelin star places. They asked us many questions to be able to cater to our personal needs. The concierge enabled us to enjoy all dinners! The check in was quick and our premier king room was beautifully designed. Spacious with a fantastic Toto bathroom and huge walk in closet dressing room. The breakfast is wonderful and provided delicious choices ! Front desk personnel-Anna was especially enthusiastically helpful.
