The Prince Park Tower Tokyo

We had a great experience. Our room was large and had nice views of the city. Service was fantastic and friendly.

Just checked-in The receptionist was very rude with me… he kept asking for credit cards to “copy it” when i asked him what do you mean by “copy it” he just ignored me!!!! And then he said I can’t “copy it” and then charged me a mysterious fees. This the first night of my 7 nights… i started to get worried about this hotel especially im staying with my family….

Had a fantastic stay for 2 nights in corner room then after our cruise 4 nights in twin room. Excellent stay with lovely staff and restaurants were excellent. Breakfast we did skytree and Japanese one morning downstairs and treat ourselves to room service. All excellent and staff were very attentive. Nice little shop on B2 and young lad always pleased to see us when we went. The young staff mainly female on taxi and baggage were brilliant.

Sometimes the reason for choosing a hotel is complicated. And sometimes it's simply: **"I want to wake up looking at Tokyo Tower."** That was pretty much the reason we chose the **Tokyo Prince Park Tower**, where we stayed for 4 nights in April 2025 in a Corner King room with bathtub and a view. And thankfully, the hotel delivered exactly what we were hoping for. That View! Our room had a fantastic view of **Tokyo Tower**, and it was clearly visible from the bedroom window. It's one thing to see Tokyo Tower while sightseeing around the city. It's another thing entirely to be able to sit in your hotel room and look at it whenever you want. I suspect this is also why I took remarkably few photos of the actual room. I was too busy photographing the view! The hotel itself is located in **Shiba Park**, one of Tokyo's oldest public parks, and that gives you another excellent opportunity to admire the Tower. Simply walk outside into the park and you can get some fantastic ground-level views, particularly around sunset and after dark. And trust me, Tokyo Tower lit up at night is quite a sight. A Little History The Tokyo Prince Park Tower opened in **2005**, but it sits in an area with considerably more history than its relatively young age suggests. It's part of the Prince Hotels group and is located beside Shiba Park and **Zojoji Temple**, one of Tokyo's most important Buddhist temples. That combination is one of the things I particularly like about this part of Tokyo. You have a huge modern hotel and one of Japan's most recognisable modern landmarks on one side, and a historic temple and beautiful parkland on the other. It's a very Tokyo combination. Dinner With a View One of the hotel's standout features is its **Sky Lounge Stellar Garden** on the 33rd floor. And, unsurprisingly, the Tokyo Tower is once again the star of the show. The elevated position gives you fantastic views across the city, with the Tower particularly impressive after dark. If you're going to choose a hotel because you want Tokyo Tower views, you might as well make the most of them! Location, Location, Location The location worked particularly well for us. Being next to Shiba Park means you can escape the density and noise of the city relatively easily, while the surrounding transport links make exploring Tokyo straightforward. And, of course, having **Tokyo Tower practically on your doorstep** is a pretty compelling reason to stay here. Would I Stay Again? I'd certainly consider it. The main reason I'd return would be the same reason I booked it in the first place: **that view.** If you're visiting Tokyo and Tokyo Tower is high on your sightseeing list, the Tokyo Prince Park Tower gives you the opportunity to make the Tower part of your hotel experience rather than simply another attraction to tick off. I don't have a huge number of photos of the room itself, but I think I'll let that slide. After all, when you've got Tokyo Tower outside your window, **who's looking at the furniture?** **Verdict: Come for the Tokyo Tower, stay for the views. A great choice if you want one of Tokyo's most iconic landmarks to be part of your hotel experience.**

Unfortunately, our experience at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo has been extremely disappointing. Check-in was unwelcoming and dismissive, with very little assistance or direction. Later, when we called room service, Kamiyama was beyond rude on the phone. His manner was completely unacceptable and certainly not the level of hospitality we expected from a hotel of this caliber. The room itself is also dated, and we found mold in the shower, raising concerns about cleanliness. After staying at two other hotels in Japan where the service and cleanliness were exceptional, the difference here is striking. The Tokyo Tower view is absolutely incredible, but unfortunately it does not make up for the poor service and condition of the room. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it. There are simply too many wonderful hotels in Tokyo to settle for this level of service.
