About the Hotel
Rancho Santana is situated between the Pacific Ocean and Lake Nicaragua on one of the Pacific only isthmuses. Bordered on both sides by water, Rancho Santana enjoys the distinction of nearly constant off shore breezes, 30 days or more each year. This off-shore wind combined with a perfectly angled coastline creates world-class surf conditions and affords guests three surf breaks on site and a dozen breaks in the area.
Rancho Santana’s terrain is as diverse as the guests who come to hike our many trails. Traverse jungle and tropical dry forest on the Los Perros loops; top off a walk to Playa Escondida with a visit to the turtle sanctuary and a splash in the tide pools; and summit a sand dune at Playa Duna.
Rancho Santana has three swimming pools and three clubhouses located throughout the property. There are four dining venues: La Finca and El Mar, La Boquita, El Cafe and La Taqueria.

The ultimate reset
An absolute delight bliss gem experience. From start to finish, Besle and Martha ushered me into a universe of nervous system reset. My massage therapist was on point and the spa is an ultimate luxury meets nature destination. Highly recommended

Spectacular Stay & Amazing Spa
Rancho Santana is a truly spectacular place to visit. Beautiful beaches, picturesque facilities, and top-tier food! As a big spa lover, I can honestly say their hidden forest spa is something special. They offer a great variety of treatments, and having complimentary access to the hot and cold plunge pools is a huge bonus. My masseuse was incredibly talented. The massages take place in cozy cabins surrounded by nature—we even spotted monkeys in the trees right next to our cabin! A huge shoutout to Martha and Bessle from the spa staff, who made our experience wonderful from start to finish. If you’re looking to relax and unwind, this is absolute perfection.

Great is not enough
Rancho Santana offers an extraordinary experience with breathtaking landscapes and fantastic food. The absolute highlight was the spa—top-tier in every way! A special thanks to Dayrin, whose incredible skill as a therapist, genuine warmth, and beautiful smile made our visit truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!

My Favorite Places to Relax
Rancho Santana has always been one of my favorite places in the world. I absolutely love spending time there, especially relaxing in the outdoor seating areas while watching the sunset. The Spa is another one of my favorite things about Rancho Santana. The service is always wonderful, the massage therapists are excellent, and the front desk staff are so friendly and attentive. Celeste, in particular, is incredibly sweet and welcoming. If you happen to see her around the hotel offering chair massages, I highly recommend giving one a try! It’s only about 20 minutes, but it’s incredibly relaxing and such a nice little treat. My husband and I absolutely loved ours. Rancho Santana is always a wonderful experience, and I can’t recommend it enough! 💛💛💛💛

Spa treatment is 10/10!! I recommend this to anyone visiting Nicaragua, not just Rancho Santana! Martha, Bessel + Celeste are incredible hosts and always greet you with a big smile and good vibes!
