Great service and beautiful hotel. The staff was phenomenal

This hotel was good but its looking a little dated compared to other luxury properties. The lobby is really stunning and the service by staff is exceptional. The hotel is really massive and everything is a far walk. The guestroom hallways and guest rooms need a renovation - they felt incredibly dated. THe recent renovation of the gym should be used as a template for future renovations - that space felt modern but sophisticated and appropriate for a Fairmont property. Being older the walls are incredibly thin. I was traveling for work and the ppl in the room next to me got back from their function late (2AM) and proceeded to have the after party in their room. Not an amazing experience. The bathroom was fine but was small. I've stayed at higher-end properties and the bathroom size was distractingly small. Everything worked and was in decent condition. Water pressure was good. If I had been traveling for pleasure I'd have been upset I stayed here but since I was traveling for work and this was the hotel the team selected it didn't matter to me. That said, I probably wouldn't stay here again when back in Toronto - even for business.

I had THE most amazing experience staying on the Gold Floor for 2 nights while attending Canada Best Managed. Everyone was so helpful, kind & friendly from the. A special Thank You to Anup for his service in the Gold Floor lounge. The Fairmont never fails to impress!!!

We were at the hotel For Canada’s Best Managed Companies and our experience at the hotel was superb! Organized, well managed and an outstanding staff! Kudos to our server on the Gold Floor Anup who is from Napal! Very kind, professional and thoughtful.

Great hotel! We were fortunate that our business meetings were in the same venue. Staff was very polite, helpful and punctual. Would stay there for non business related travel
