Impeccable service and beautiful hotel ! Located in the center of it all. It is great for all walks of life. Train from the airport was so clean and easy and leaves you only one step away from the entrance. Next time, I’m coming back here for more days.

I expected more from a 5 star hotel. The service was fairly good (checking in and phone response) however the first thing I noticed when I opened my door was the smell of smoke in my room. As I settled in I realized I was placed in a room next to the elevator. While that did not bother me while I was gone, I found it very difficult to sleep for the 3 nights I was there. Luckily, I brought ear plugs to help drown out the sound of the elevator whooshing up and down every 10 seconds. Needless to say my sleep quality was subpar and it affected my presentation during the conference I was attending. And shower took 5-10 minutes to get luke warm (not hot).

Upon checking in to the hotel, I was told my room was not quite ready but they said, "let me see what I can do." I was then given a room that was ready. The room clearly had a handicap accessible bathroom and when I spoke with my colleagues (who seemingly booked the same type of room) our rooms seemed very different. I inquired about the room to the front desk and they reassured me I was in the same type of room I booked (Signature King Suite). I asked if it was a handicap accessible room and they assured me it was not. They also said the hotel was completely booked so there was not an option for another room. The other aspect that was very disappointing was that the hotel hosted some type of party on the Saturday night before my early morning flight on Sunday. Usually this would not be an issue, but this party continued until 2am and the bass from the music could be heard/felt very clearly in my room. I asked the concierge desk about the party at approximately 12am and they were apologetic for the noise but there was nothing to be done. They offered ear plugs but I did not need them as I already use an in-ear electronic noise blocking pair (Ozlo sleepbuds). Needless to say, I got around two hours of sleep before my early morning flight. When I checked out early Sunday morning the front desk person asked how my stay was and I told him I was disappointed about the very loud noise from the hotel party. He was apologetic and said he would wave my drink charge from the bar (he did not as it was still on the room receipt). With all that said, waiving a drink charge was not a big deal. I was really disappointed in the stay. I will not return to this particular hotel and will have a great deal of pause in booking at any Fairmont hotel. It was my first experience with a Fairmont hotel and had heard good things but this experience was extremely underwhelming.

The most lovely hotel, room service was respectful and consistent. Sauna, hot tub, and steam room were my favourites. Amazing interior and elegant design. Receptionists were super polite and friendly. Mohamed the bellman was very helpful and polite with our baggage. Overall a really nice relaxing stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights in Toronto. Perfectly located opposite station, easy walk everywhere eg harbour, Blue Jays stadium, financial district, Distillary district etc. Many restaurants within a short walk. Hotel its self is beautiful and opulent, especially the bar, restaurants and reception. Rooms are very comfortable; but in need of renovation especially the bathrooms (expect better for the price). Would recommend to stay nonetheless.
