Fairmont Royal York

Fabulous!! Fabulous!! Fabulous!! Christmas at the Fairmont is something to see. The lobby is beautiful. Our room was great, and the staff are amazing, very helpful and professional. Dinner in the lounge at Reign was top notch. Food was fabulous and service was stellar. The location of the Fairmont is perfectly situated for going anywhere in the downtown area with the underground pathway system being an excellent travel option. Although on the pricey side, it's well worth it. Highly recommend!

Our team was in Toronto on business last week, and we were so excited to come to the Fairmont Royal York. It's always a very busy hotel, but that's because everyone loves it! It's got the perfect blend of old world grande dame with marble floors and lofted ceilings and newer, more contemporary decor within the restaurants and fitness areas. This blend is so well done and seamless. The Clockwork lounge and Library Bar are fun and swanky, but sophisticated at the same time. I highly suggest visiting the hotel in the month of December! The Christmas decor is so beautiful. Finally, to say something about the nightly rates - it's definitely a good value and for sure - a less expensive alternative to the Ritz Carlton (although we love the Toronto Ritz, but it's not always in the budget!).

‘Signature Room’ does not match photos (no fireplace, no city view - just an obstructed view of the first floor roof). Don’t sell this unit as a ‘signature room’ because it’s quite disappointing.

My family recently stayed at the Fairmont Royal York and we had a fabulous time! This hotel is pure luxury and amazing in so many ways. It is within walking distance to so many places including restaurants, attractions, etc. We stayed in a signature room and it was truly beautiful. Very spacious, modern, clean, and also included lovely views of the city. We enjoyed some in-room dining which was also wonderful. The service from everyone we encountered was top notch! We will definitely be back here. If you are thinking of trying this hotel, stop thinking and just book it!

Great business hotel, located by the convention centre and close to central businesses. Really friendly service and comfortable rooms. Fantastic gym - really exceptional. The inhouse bars are great but in room dining left a bit to be desired.
