Fairmont Royal York

My wife and I recently stayed at the Royal York for 3 nights. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. The week before we stayed at the Royal York, we were blessed to have stayed at Fairmont Chateau Frontenac (I already reviewed the Chateau separately. It is incredible). The Royal York is clearly flagship property and is just as amazing as the Chateau Frontenac. No detail is overlooked! The property is beautiful! The service is exceptional, and every employee that we interacted with was committed to making our stay memorable! Literally, everyone we interacted with was passionate about providing the best service possible! And, once the staff realized my wife and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary, they took even better care of us! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! It is a must stay!

A very positive experience, of which I highlight three key aspects: 1. Hotel location 2. Gym and spa (equipment and size) 3. Room cleanliness and service. I emphasize the excellent service provided by Dino and his team, which made our stay experience beyond our wildest expectations. I stayed in room 6-180, on the sixth floor.

Everything I expected...and more. Have been to 53 countries and stayed in all sorts of hotels. The Royal York is nothing short of everything you'd want in a Toronto hotel, with a lot of history to promote. The staff was among the friendliest and most customer-centric I've experienced. They all wanted to ensure our best stay in this city...every single one we encountered. Our room was top notch. And when we needed a refridgerator, they brought one in. Loved the Library Bar and our daily breakfasts in Reign. Lobby is outstanding. Highly recommended.

I had a bad experience with this Hotel. Hotel staffs aren't supportive and unable to handle the emergency situation of the client. Charging abruptly without proper reason.

We booked this hotel for its location and centrality to all things Toronto !!! We booked a double deluxe suite for our family, and it was large enough for all 4 of us for almost a week The beds were comfy and we got a perfect night's sleep. The air con in the room was great and quiet. We were able to set a low enough temperature whilst we slept. We requested a fridge and microwave so that we could cater for our needs. We had a car and self parked at the green P parking station around the corner from hotel. Had no issues with this. The hotel's history was very interesting to learn about. The hotels location allowed us to use the trains and walk to the harbour to be able to get to Toronto Island and explore the island on hired push bikes. This was fabulous. We also walked to two Blue Jay's games which were terrific and exciting to be part of the atmosphere. Our suite had a view of Union Station and Rogers Center. Our room wasn't ready when we checked in, but a big mention to Natalia who was fantastic. She was an excellent communicator and did an awesome job catering for our requests and needs. She also wrote a beautiful note delivered to our suite which made our stay even more special. Across the raad was Union Station which had really good eateries that the kids enjoyed. Also a notable mention to Jerico, who was hospitable and helpful during our stay. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel whilst in Toronto, as the staff customer service made it a memorable one.
