I did a staycation with my mother and we did a 2 nights stay in early/mid April. I would highly recommend the hotel, I always love Four Seasons and it lived up to it's brand. The room were nicely designed and quaint, the beds were very comfortable and we were upgraded to higher floor at check in. The hotel spa is a must with the indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam and infared sauna facility offering. My mom opted for a full spa experience with stone massage and absolutely loved it. I enjoyed the indoor pool and infarred red sauna with no complaints. The spa and indoor pool was nicely designed - I would highly recommend checking it out! Perfect for couples, me day or a girls / boys spa day. I liked how they had a separate small room in the indoor pool area for those to enjoy snacks / bites/ drinks. We also checked out the Cafe Boulud restaurant, and as always his restaurants never disappoints, the food was scrumptious. We also did a night cap at DJ bar and the service was excellent, we couldn't finish the bottle of wine and the waiter allowed for us to bring it back to our room ( nice touch!) The only reason I did not give it a full 5 star rating only a 4 star rating is because I didn't feel the service was consistent through out the entire hotel. Being a 5 star hotel and being the original first Four Seasons to open, I expected more fluid service and full on service. It was quite busy as it was the weekend so you get outside visitors as well as hotel guests at check in. When I checked my mother in, the person at reception signed us in nicely, but there was no one to greet us to bring us into the Spa Room ( I feel there could have been a better handoff) as oppose to directing us from a far. Also we were not offered tea at registration, like everyone else ( this was probably due to it being quite busy at the reception). My suggestion would be to have a consistent welcoming and have people ready to greet and walk us to the Spa facilities welcome room. It was confusing as people signed in and checked out and all the staff was inside the reception area and there are no seats in the front area reception area. They should have someone leading you into the spa room facilities to sign in (Albeit we were offered to head to the spa relaxation area to complete our form, but they seemed busy and I opted to just sign the form on the spot to save time). Overall it was still a very pleasant stay and I would go back, but the service and consistency could be a notch improved given it's 5 star and OG of Four Seasons !

My go to hotel in Toronto . Great location in Yorkville close to the shops and boutiques etc. Staff are warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble . Got my usual upgrade to a suite which was spotless ,very comfortable, lovely decor and I felt very much at home. Breakfast was spot on with a huge choice.

It is only appropriate that Toronto, the birthplace of the Four Seasons global empire, should have an excellent Four Seasons of its own. Well-designed, well-maintained and well-located, with service of a quality that it makes one think it is serving as the Four Seasons training ground or laboratory. And add in an excellent DB outpost to boot. The only real knock on this place is its cost. Clearly responding to market demand, it is always expensive and often very expensive compared to the other Toronto options. And sometimes the sticker price is such that it does make one wonder if the premium is worth it, excellent as it is.
