Shangri-La Toronto

We will definitely come back, one of the best hotel we’ve stayed at. Mr Adam El Alfy greeted us and introduce himself the moment we checked in, very welcoming and helpful. We were given a beautiful suite with a view of the city, fruit platter and goodies for our son ready in the room to welcome us. A staff came and asked if they need to remove all traces of peanut in the room due to our son’s allergy which was very thoughtful. Everything we requested was provided within minutes. The pool, spa, steam room and gym are clean beautiful space to work out and relax after a long day. We had the Shangri-La burger and truffle fries 2 days in a row because they are just marvelous. Location is perfect, convenient walk to many tourist spots. Thank you very much Mr El Alfy. You and your staff had given us a phenomenal stay. Shout out to Mr Mathur as well for being remarkably responsive.

I stayed in the Shangri-La for two nights for my wedding and we could not have been more satisfied. The hotel itself is gorgeous, from the lobby which appeared to be full at all hours of the day for socializing etc to each of the three rooms my wife and our other guests rented. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and there was plenty of space within the room to store everyone’s bags for the weekend. Although the rooms and hotel were gorgeous and comfortable, the Shangri-La really stood out for its service. The service centre was always available at the drop of a hat to accommodate any request/need we had including the procurement of extra bar-stool seating for my (soon to be at the time) wife's hair and makeup, storage for our wedding decorations, champagne flutes delivered to the room in a matter of minutes, and even a complementary pillow menu and delivery service aimed at ensuring you had the best stay possible. We didn’t eat at the restaurant at all so I can’t specifically comment on the food, but the restaurant always looked full of people having a good time which is typically an indicator of great food. My husband and I recently stayed at the Shangri-La Toronto as part of our wedding weekend. We felt that our needs would be well taken care of from the moment that we checked-in. All the staff that we interacted with were attentive and friendly. Dean from the Concierge team made our weekend extra special by arranging flowers and chocolates in our room. We stayed in a Deluxe One Bedroom Suite, and the room was absolutely perfect. The room had large (floor to ceiling) windows which provided a great view of the city and in the bathroom, a great view of the CN tower. The room was both clean and spacious. offering the comfort we wanted for our wedding weekend. Overall it was a fantastic stay, and we can't wait to return again in the future!

This hotel is the best hotel I have ever been to in my life. I never felt so welcomed, safe and relaxed EVER!!!! I highly recommend this hotel because it will honestly change your life. I stayed in the Premier View Room and let’s just say it was breathtaking!!!!!

Exemplary service with attentive staff and kid friendly hotel amenities. Staff went above and beyond in terms of service and attention to details. The room was immaculate and every request was responded to rapidly and with grace. Housekeeping and turn down service did a marvelous job and special thanks to Michael for getting us settled in and starting our stay off in total comfort. In room dining was very fast (as was breakfast service) and the food was delicious. The kids really enjoyed the milk and cookies at night, thank you! Hotel is in a great location with easy access in downtown. Lively lobby at night with live music. The fitness center facility had everything needed and the staff there were great. Pool was closed for part of the stay, but the hotel made arrangements so our kids could swim and when it reopened, we could see why people say this is the best pool in Toronto. Loved the sauna and steam room features and made use of the hot tub cabanas! This was our first Shangri-La experience and we will be sure to come back and will look forward to future stays with this hotel brand.
