My girlfriend and I spent a couple nights here as a staycation. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite. Overall it was pleasant but I feel they’ve missed the mark on a “luxury” experience. - The room is pretty bland, with some large bare walls that could really use some art. In fact, there was no art anywhere except the bathrooms. - The pantry minibar and fridge minibar are both really bare - Wine glasses in the room are small and very cheap. I’m not asking for Zaltos but a glass that costs more than $2 would’ve been nicer - There was no corkscrew in the room. When I requested a corkscrew, they brought some dinky knife/bottle opener that didn’t have a screw. I called back and they brought a proper corkscrew but even that was pretty cheap feeling. - Room service was meh. The burger was a bit overcooked (but quite flavourful) and the club sandwich was nothing special, and the bread for it was like basic Dempsters bread. Fries were great, though. I was tempted by the buffalo wings, but the photo on the room service app showed about 4-5 wings for $35… Add all this together, while not one of them is fatal, there is not a true feeling of luxury. On the bright side - the room is spacious and cozy; the bed is among the most comfortable I’ve slept it (and the overall quality of sleep here was excellent - we didn’t hear *any* hallway noise from our bedroom); the bathroom and shower are fantastic; and the room is all in good condition.

One of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. We were charged over $1,000 for a New Year’s Eve event that was completely misleading and did not match what was advertised. There was no DJ, no live jazz, and the event was extremely poorly organized. Music was played from a laptop, and unbelievably, the countdown happened after midnight. Even more serious: we were served expired food, and despite clearly informing staff about food allergies, this was ignored. As a result, we suffered food poisoning. This is a serious health and safety violation. We feel scammed and deeply disappointed. We are seeking a full refund and compensation for this unacceptable experience. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking events here.

Excellent hotel! The staff is so incredibly attentive. My daughter got sick on our trip and they did everything they could to assist us. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this hotel!

Stayed here with my girlfriend and had an amazing stay. Aktish at the front desk was very helpful during check-in and provided me with plenty of suggestions for unwinding, along with useful information about the hotel. I also happened to run into Nolan from Security I believe, on my way down in the elevator, and he was very friendly and attentive. Even though it was a quick ride, the interaction genuinely brightened my morning. It’s little moments like these that make a hotel feel truly welcoming.

I would not recommend staying in this hotel. We're here right now and it's been a comedy of errors. We booked a deluxe suite, arrived at the hotel a few minutes after 4 pm and our room wasn't ready (check in is 3 pm). We waited 10 minutes or so before they told us room was ready. They supposedly upgraded us to a corner suite but it's not an upgrade. 12th floor, no view, and next to the elevator. I would have rather had our original reserved room. I suspect the room we booked wasn't available as the hotel was at full capacity. The worst part is the elevator noise. This room should not actually be in their inventory. You can hear the elevator in the living room. Their housekeeping is quite bad. They don't replenish items in the room (soap, cotton balls, coffee pods). I don't think anything has been replenished. They also may or may not do turn down service and when they do, they don't shut the curtains. It takes forever to get anything if you call and ask for something. Tonight they tried to do turn down services at 8:30 pm. What hotel does turn down at that hour???? I spoke to the manager about the noise issue. Her solution was to show me a suite that was like the one we reserved. My expectation was you provides us with a better room. No need to move to a similar room. We usually stay in Ritz Carltons, Four Seasons, Peninsulas, and Belmond properties so we were expecting the same level of service at this property but this hotel is definitely not a luxury experience. $3000 later and lesson learned. We won't be back and will probably stay at the Four Seasons. The only positives are the breakfast food is good and the concierges are excellent. Otherwise, stay far away from this hotel. Maybe management will respond to my review but the issues should have been taken care of during our stay.
