W Toronto

Centrally located on shopping area at Bloor st, W is a nice and modern hotel in line with other Ws across north america; staff was super nice and helpful, whilst rooms maybe a bit too small considering that a part of the bathroom is “open air”; breakfast is generous even if at peak hours there might be some waiting before being seated.

I had a great experience at the W. Service was outstanding- employees highly professional- there was a quiet discretion to everything which I like. I was upgraded to a king room - very large, well appointed. Very clean. Not everyone will love the bathroom layout - and the light controls could be somewhat confusing- but these aren't negatives. Entry is a bit confusing if you come in off the street, as you may think you are entering a restaurant. This isn't a big deal. Fantastic location in Yorkville near shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. When visiting Toronto, this is definitely my hotel of choice. PS --- the shower is the best!

I had a wonderful time staying at the W hotel in Memorial Day Weekend. The accommodations were spectacular, the staff were very friendly and professional. The restaurants were fantastic and delicious, I especially liked the Listening Bar. I came into town to see Bruno Mars concert (which was cancelled due to the torrential rain that poured that weekend); but I enjoyed my stay and meeting other people who were at the hotel. When I return to back to Toronto, will happily book my stay at the W Tornonto hotel.

We were in Toronto for a family wedding and spent 2 nights at the end of our trip at the W. The location was perfect to get around downtown and see the main sights, do some shopping and have nice dinners. We had dinner at the restaurant Tono which was exceptional. Had drinks at the front of the hotel which was great for a quick drink and snacks, while enjoying watching the city go by. Overall an enjoyable short stay at a well established city hotel.

Very friendly staff. However, when I arrived there was no one outside to help with my bags, so a hotel guest helped me instead. The window in the room is behind the bed so basically you pay for a city view but you can't see it. In addition, the sun wakes you early morning because of this horrible design idea. I will never stay here again. The Design of the floors and the odd room layout and dark interior colors are very ugly. The Internet also constantly disconnects. And the phone is broken.
