The Hazelton Hotel

My wife and I chose to celebrate our 80th Birthday at the Hazleton Hotel. It was an excellent decision. The service, rooms, and personnel were just outstanding. We have travelled around the world and have stayed at some of the top hotels in the world. I would say the Hazelton is right up there with the very best.

You can’t go wrong. Very kind and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. Size and layout make it feel very cozy and small. Rooms are great. Only complaint I had was that our feet were dirty and black after walking barefoot in the room for a while. Didn’t seem to concern anyone too much. Everything else was cleaned very well, so the carpet situation surprised us and I hope it was a one-off. Would definitely go back. Breakfast is nice and wait staff is terrific. Dinner at One can be skipped, the food is rather dull. Overall: Excellent hotel and recommend.

We had an amazing stay at The Hazelton Hotel. Very friendly and efficient hotel staff, especially the concierge desk who helped us a lot to make our stay memorable. They organised for us a private Niagara Falls tour ending with a marvellous sun set diner at a top restaurant in the vineyards. Very romantic moment.

I recently booked a trip for a business meeting at the Hazelton. We had 16 rooms with a group of 26. With that many in a group, there will always be one or two that have something negative to say, not this time. The Hazelton is the most excellent Hotel that I have ever stayed at. Working with the Hazelton team to put together the details for a company meeting was seamless. The Sales Team (Vashish and Maxime) was on top of every detail for our stay. They ensured that I was connected with all the departments I would need to make this a success. The catering team, led by Kate, put together a perfect meeting space, which included a delicious lunch, as well as an intimate dinner in their outdoor Atrium. The concierge team, Maira, Toni, Ronaldo, and Robert, were brilliant when it came to all things Toronto. They set up a fantastic tour for our group to Niagara Falls, which was absolutely amazing. They arranged all of our transportation to various locations, as well as our travel to and from the airport. The level of service you receive at The Hazelton surpasses that of any hotel I have had the privilege of staying in, whether you are interacting with the Manager and his front desk team or the servers or housekeeping staff. All of the staff are there to make sure that you are taken care of. Did I mention the fantastic food! The bed and pillows, I have never slept so well away from home in my life. If you find yourself traveling to Toronto, whether you are planning a group event or looking to get away with friends or family, this is the place to stay. You will not be disappointed. Ruby Q
