Toronto’s effervescent Yorkville neighborhood is one of the city’s shining jewels. Lined with upscale boutiques, Victorian-era homes, and chic restaurants, the posh enclave still retains some of its artsy vibes—leftover from its past life as a bohemian hub for musicians. Here is where you’ll find Park Hyatt Toronto, surrounded by world-class institutions like the Royal Ontario Museum and University of Toronto-St. George Campus.

We’re actually writing this review while standing in line waiting for an elevator — on our last night, three tour buses unloaded simultaneously into a hotel served by only two slow elevators, creating a wait of over half an hour with no accommodation for guests already checked in. It perfectly sums up our stay: a hotel that seems to prioritize large tour groups over individual travelers with little regard for the impact. The positives are real — clean rooms, a good gym, reliable room service, friendly staff, and the Writers Room bar is excellent. But our room wasn’t ready at check-in, turndown service appeared only once in three nights, and the elevators are inadequate even on a normal day. There’s a four-star hotel here. But at five-star prices, the basics of the guest experience simply aren’t being met.

The hotel is very well located, across from Royal Ontario Museum, close to great restaurants and upscale shops. The room and bathroom were spacous and clean, bed was comfortable and the service was impeccable. The rooftop bar has a spectacular view, especially at night. The entire hotel staff was super friendly, from the doorman to the House Car driver. I would like to recognize the staff who supported me during the week I was in Toronto: At Reception, Chris, and at the Concierge, the support of Erika and Caleb. And the special attention of Vanessa Liabakos, with a surprise birthday cake to celebrate my sister´s birthday. And Mr. Abul from Room Service. The Joni restaurant team was super attentive during our breakfast: Mike, Ewa, and the brazilian manager Otavio. It was certainly a memorable experience! Thanks Fatima

Amazing staff and impeccable hotel. Loved the breakfast food and the view from the rooftop bar. Spa was wonderful and their facial beds move to keep the stress off the lower back!

Phenomenal customer service. The personal note and delicious macaroons waiting for us when we arrived was the kindest gesture. Love being a Hyatt Globalist! Free parking, complimentary shuttle/driver, free breakfast. I wish I didn’t book 2 days before arriving so that I could’ve taken advantage of the suite upgrades I have access to.

New clean rooms with very friendly staff and an excellent online check‑in and check‑out process. I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was very comfortable with lovely bedding. There was some noise before 10:00 p.m. as my room was next to the elevator, but it was quiet during the night.
