Toronto’s effervescent Yorkville neighborhood is one of the city’s shining jewels. Lined with upscale boutiques, Victorian-era homes, and chic restaurants, the posh enclave still retains some of its artsy vibes—leftover from its past life as a bohemian hub for musicians. Here is where you’ll find Park Hyatt Toronto, surrounded by world-class institutions like the Royal Ontario Museum and University of Toronto-St. George Campus.

I stayed at the Park Hyatt Toronto last month and was thoroughly impressed. The room felt brand new — beautifully designed, spotless, and equipped with every modern comfort. The service throughout my stay was excellent: professional, attentive, and genuinely warm. The bar upstairs offers a stunning view of the city, especially at sunset, and the atmosphere perfectly balances sophistication and relaxation. The breakfast was another highlight — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of high-quality ingredients. Overall, Park Hyatt Toronto delivers a seamless blend of modern luxury, comfort, and thoughtful hospitality. A truly memorable stay that I’d recommend without hesitation.

On my first trip to Toronto I booked the Park Hyatt with points. The location was north of the central business hub of the city in the Yorkville area and very near or the University of Toronto. The Royal Ontario Museum was across the street. We were given a king bed, deluxe room for our stay. It had a large bathroom with a single sink, but plenty of space for two people and their toiletry kits. The shower was large and had a rainfall as well as hand-held shower head. (with great water pressure) It featured La Labo bath products. The entry had a bench for sitting on and a wall separated the entry from the sleeping area. The entry also included the mini bar area with free coffee making supplies. (Nespresso) The mini bar prices were high, but not as high as some that I have seen. The sleeping area included a larger and smaller closet, steamer, iron/ironing board, safe and area to hang clothes. There was a built in bench for a suitcase next to the dresser. All light controls were push button and you could control various lights from the entry as well as both sides of the bed. There were electrical as well as USB plugs on both sides of the bed. The bed itself was very comfortable, and so were the pillows. The room featured dark wood with some gold accents. There was a desk, separate table and sofa to relax on. The room was comfortable with HVAC working perfectly. Other nice features were lights that clicked on under the bed and in the bathroom for middle of the night trips. As a Hyatt Globalist, we received free breakfast at the in-house restaurant, Joni. It was very good and there were a variety of items to choose from. One morning we ordered room service the night before and it was also good. All included as a benefit. We did have a meal and a few drinks at the rooftop bar, Writer's Room. The drinks, food and atmosphere were great at the Writer's Room and the view was magnificent overlooking downtown Toronto during a thunderstorm over Lake Ontario! Some might not like the location of the hotel in relation to things like the CN Tower or Rogers Center, but the Park Hyatt has a "house" car that will take guests anywhere within a 5km range, for free. We used this to get to sights like Rogers Center for a game; Kensington Market and the Hockey Hall of Fame. Even though this was a points redemption, I would stay at the Park Hyatt Toronto again on my own dime. It isn't inexpensive, but the quality, service and amenities set it apart. A special shout out to the concierge staff for great restaurant recommendations and the house car driver from Estonia!

If you want a hotel and guest service experience with soul, this is the place. Not only are the rooms clean and comfortable, but the front desk and concierge team are top notch. They make the stay special and complete. My go to second home away from home always!
