Toronto’s effervescent Yorkville neighborhood is one of the city’s shining jewels. Lined with upscale boutiques, Victorian-era homes, and chic restaurants, the posh enclave still retains some of its artsy vibes—leftover from its past life as a bohemian hub for musicians. Here is where you’ll find Park Hyatt Toronto, surrounded by world-class institutions like the Royal Ontario Museum and University of Toronto-St. George Campus.

Couldn’t have been a nicer stay for our whole family! From the luxurious rooms and bed to the delicious food at Joni to the incredibly attentive service by the concierges (who helped us get a prime time last minute reservation on a Saturday night), we were all so impressed. The rooms are big in a part of the city where space is at a premium, and the suite had more than enough space for seven of us to comfortably spend some time together. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Toronto.

Just a one night stay, and my first trip back since the renovation/reopening, and wow!! Alright, you'd expect it to be upgraded, but it really was impressive...lots of 'stories' behind the art selections also, which the staff were enthusiastic about sharing. Beyond the public areas (fantastic gym, as others have mentioned), the room was gracious, spotless. and with an incredibly comfortable bed. "Humoungous" bathroom! I didn't hear the subway from my room (5th floor suite), though it was noticeable in some other locations in the hotel. Back to the enthusiastic staff - they were superb! I received a wonderfully warm welcome, not the slightest bit 'stuffy', and everyone I encountered (front desk, cleaning staff in the hallway, ice delivery, restaurant at breakfast) were quick to smile, say hello. Great Hyatt Globalist recognition, always appreciated.

The hotel was fine in general but the food was sub-par and extremely expensive. We did room service for dinner and breakfast, and the quality of the food was poor, the portion size was small and the bill was way over priced. They are priced like the 4 Seasons but not the same quality. When we complained, they said there was nothing they could do. Didn't offer to take anything off the bill, etc.

Super friendly staff and more posh than I expected. Daughter and I had an excellent stay, helpful and courteous staff and very clean rooms. Great location just enough off Bloor to keep noise down but super accessible to shopping and visiting the University of Toronto.

Attended a wedding this past Saturday. Host of the wedding agreed to make valet parking complimentary. Decided to stay over night at $650 for the night. When I went to check out I was advised that I would have to pay $70 for valet because I stayed over. In other words I was being penalized for booking a room. Spoke to manager who offered us a few hundred Hyatt points as compensation. Also alarm clock in bathroom went off at 4:00,am and once again manger couldn't care less. When in Toronto stay at Four Season or St Regis as Park Hyatt in no where near being in the same class.
