Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort

A really beautiful garden and that's about it... the whole place seems stuck in the 90s, from room decor to restaurants, which is a pity as a new coat of paint and some investment in upgrading it could create a very beautiful spot.

Our second trip here... Great resort that caters for everyone...our severely handicapped daughter is always made to feel welcome and cared for... The resort has a laid back ambience with the most helpful staff in all areas...thank you for a great vacation again...

Terre Blanche is a vast and beautifully maintained Provençal resort with impressive facilities, generous space and consistently warm, helpful staff. We stayed in villa 1402, which was exceptionally well located close to the main building, restaurants and pool, while still feeling private and peaceful. Once we returned to the villa, we could relax, listen to the cicadas and almost forget how large and busy the resort was. The pillows were among the best we have experienced in any hotel. The poolside lunch was excellent, and the tennis and golf surroundings were genuinely beautiful. We had the two tennis courts entirely to ourselves. There were, however, several weaker points. During the summer season, the main pool felt clearly family-oriented, with many children and a large number of loungers appearing to be reserved. Breakfast was unremarkable, and we waited approximately 25 minutes for both coffee and omelettes. The coffee itself was particularly disappointing for a hotel of this standard. We also wanted to book the spa, but the website made it unnecessarily difficult to find a clear overview of treatments and prices. Even the concierge struggled to locate the information, and we eventually decided not to book. The employees themselves were excellent throughout and could not be faulted for their attitude. We would consider returning for a golf- or tennis-focused stay outside the peak summer season, but travellers looking for a quiet, adults-oriented escape should be aware that the summer atmosphere is very family-focused.

worth a visit, the location is tranquil, off the beaten track, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. Many small towns close by offering good restaurants at good prices, easy to visit the vineyards. And two great golf courses. Service is first class. We will return.
