Anantara was superb. I cannot say enough good things about it. The staff was especially friendly and helpful, especially Habib and Taha. This place was a beautiful desert oasis. I will definitely be returning here for another vacation.

The Mora offers a rare combination of luxury, tranquility, and authentic desert atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the hotel’s concept: an exclusive oasis in a remote Sahara setting, with outstanding facilities and spacious villas equipped to the highest standard. The villas are elegant, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making the entire stay feel private and relaxing. What distinguishes this hotel most, however, is its exceptional team. The reception staff under the leadership of Front Office Manager Rihab handled everything flawlessly and always with warmth and efficiency. Breakfast service was excellent every day, thanks to Nahed, Amira, and Mouheb, who were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. We would also like to give special recognition to Saddem from Housekeeping, whose thoughtful service was outstanding. Having the terrace fire prepared in the evening and enjoying his room service made our stay even more special. A wonderful luxury experience in the Sahara.

**Stunning villa, but operations need serious work — Mora Sahar Tozeur** The pool villa is genuinely one of the best rooms I have stayed in across properties including the Shangri-La, Four Seasons, and Kempinski. Hans Grohe fittings, freestanding bath, premium bedding and a private terrace make it outstanding. Mekong restaurant, the spa, the quad tour, and the Berber night were all enjoyable highlights worth mentioning. That said, the operational experience fell well short of a 5-star standard in several areas. Arrival was a poor start, the driver arrived 40 minutes late despite multiple advance confirmations, with an explanation of "traffic" in a desert town. There was also a food safety concern at the Berber night where the chicken was clearly undercooked, which at this level is simply not acceptable. The beef at the Sarab buffet was equally disappointing. Service throughout was highly inconsistent. Orders were mixed up, substituted without explanation, or never arrived at all, and room service was late and incorrect on multiple occasions. The root cause appears to be a language gap, menus are in English but many staff cannot communicate in it. Mohamed in room service was a genuine standout and showed exactly what the team standard should look like. Housekeeping was unreliable, with water, towels, and turndown inconsistent day to day. The in-room app was never introduced at check-in, and when we did use it, messages went unanswered, meaning there was no reliable way to request anything during the stay. Several things we ended up enjoying were only discovered by chance or by asking directly, and a simple welcome briefing would fix this immediately. The villa product is a genuine strength and worth visiting for, but the operational gaps need addressing before the property can consistently deliver on its 5-star promise.

Would like to take the moment to appreciate the beauty of the hotel and the location. Stayed for 8-nights with my gf. If you’re looking for a romantic and chill getaway, this is your spot. Great reception by the team. Valet ready to help and a nice tour of the resort was delivered with a few laughs along the way. Stayed in a deluxe suite initially but was upgraded to a private pool Villa (recommended). Both were luxurious and spacious with everything you’d need (villa on another level ofc). Really clean and room service was great although delivery times could use a bit of Improvement. For the price, you’d expect a bit more staff and more “hands on/direct” service. Staff are too distant which most of the times resulted in slight frustration as we were unable to receive assistance when needed. This was all sorted though when reached out to the FOH. Again, these things mentioned are only due to VERY HIGH expectations of this place. This is as it’s the most luxurious resort in the country. The restaurant’s are open to the public as well by reservation. This unfortunately results, in our opinion, to a bit over-priced for actual residents or those that are staying for more than 1night. Danish prices in Tunisia shouldn’t be possible Finishing it off on a good note: Special thanks for all the help and support received by Rihab in the reception. WOW is an understatement of her attentiveness, friendliness and at the same time professionalism. Actions were taken right away when the slightest was mentioned. Definitely the reason why we’re rating 5 stars and not 4. Thank you

We had a wonderful time! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, the property is beautiful and impeccable, and the food delicious. Also, Nazar planned out some exceptional excursions for us to see the area with an amazing guide and driver. 10 out of 10 recommend!
