Rude reception desk!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

The treatment my family and I received at your resort over the past two days was very disappointing. This is my first time visiting Tunisia. My daughter married a Tunisian man who has always spoken with great pride about his country and, in particular, his hometown. Because of that, our family was very excited to visit and experience the hospitality and beauty Tunisia is known for. We wanted to go for breakfast but unfortunately, our experience at your resort has been extremely upsetting. On both occasions, we were refused service and dismissed without explanation. The staff’s attitude, especially toward my son-in-law—who was born in this town—was noticeably disrespectful. It was clear that he felt humiliated and saddened by the way we were treated in a place he had looked forward to sharing with us. We came with respect and good intentions, only to be met with exclusion and disappointment. It is truly disheartening to see such behavior in an establishment that represents the community and its people. No guests—locals or visitors—should ever be treated in this way. We left peacefully, but with deep sadness and frustration. I hope this complaint encourages management to look into this situation seriously and ensure that all guests are treated with the respect and fairness they deserve.

Bad experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

I am deeply disappointment with the treatment my family and I received at this resort. This has been, without exaggeration, the worst experience I have ever had at any establishment in Tunisia. On two consecutive days, my family and I visited your resort with the simple intention of enjoying breakfast together. Instead, we were met with disrespect and outright refusal of service. The front desk manager, who I believe is named Rehab, and the kitchen manager or chef, Imad, were particularly unwelcoming and dismissive. Their behavior made us feel unwelcome and humiliated in front of other guests. The only reason we came back the next day is because the security guard, I believe his name was Acharef , convinced us to give them another chance. As someone who was born in this town and has spent most of my life in the United States, I had been looking forward to visiting your resort since its construction began. It is extremely disappointing that, instead of hospitality, we were treated as though we didn’t belong. No guest should ever experience such discrimination or disrespect, regardless of their background or appearance. I hope this complaint prompts you to investigate this matter seriously and ensure that no other visitors are treated this way again.

Fantastic hotel, beautiful location in harmony with the surrounding. Warm welcome pack in the lobby (dates juice, dates filled with marzipan and pistachio) and a cold towel. In the room, welcome plate of fruit and dates. Super serene. Wonderful rain shower and quite AC

Exceptional retreat in Tunisia

Exceptional resort in every sense of the word. The staff - especially Nazir - accommodated all of our activity requests and the resort did their best to manage the gluten free needs of one member of our group. The rooms were breathtaking and amenities were lovely. Highly recommend the dinner by design!
