Beachcomber Trou aux Biches Resort & Spa

We stayed during May 2026. The weather was great this time of year. The service level at this resort was perfect. The staff are incredibly professional, and everything at this here runs like a well oiled machine. The food was exquisite. The attention to detail and personalised service was absolutely amazing. The only problem I had was that I couldn't stay longer !! I believe they are closed for renovations but I couldn't fault anything and can only dream what the improvements will bring. I will recommend this resort a hundred times over.

I think there is an issue in Mauritius with food and service quality which I saw in this hotel as well. First the positive - beautiful property with large spacious rooms and a very nice beach. Now the rest - I think the drinks are good but the food is terrible in every restaurant that I ate. The asian restaurant is ok and I did not try the Indian but really bad food everywhere else. Which I believe is a Mauritius problem as I have not really liked food in other properties or when I have eaten outside. Second is the service, in the world of online booking apps, the hotel insists that we walk to the reception and reserve in person the restaurants. If we are in meetings the whole day, just forget about the food. Third - I had to request for basic amenities like dental kit, soap etc. Fourth - the minibar is empty and room service is well 1-1.5 hrs easily so if u want something, you have to walk to a restaurant and consume - what kind of service is that. I had to ask for minibar items and had to pay upfront - no deposit or anything but payment. I think the hotel needs to improve its services - seriously! We also requested for a cab from hotel to go for meetings and the cab also broke down just when we were ready to return and the driver made us wait for like 1 hour after which we had to organise another cab ourself. I am not visiting this property again.

We had another fantastic stay at Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa. Everything was perfect: the beautiful resort, excellent food, nice rooms, and more importantly the outstanding service. A special thank you to the housekeeping team for keeping our room immaculate every day. We would also like to thank Murday, Mamed, Ajay, Yasin, Kavisen, Ravisen, and especially Zuheyr for his amazing drinks, as well as Kevin, who always checked that we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. It is the warmth and professionalism of the staff that keep us coming back year after year. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you!!!

A wonderful 8th stay, once again we enjoyed the hotel, good food and amazing service. The weather was also superb, as we have come to expect. Especially the service from Elizabeth at reception, Dave at Caravelle breakfast and Ankush, our exremely efficient butler. We also enjoyed the evening entertainment. Looking forward to visiting again after the renovation. We stayed in a senior suite beachfront, the views are always special.

I booked for my parents a 3 night stay at the hotel to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They had an exceptional one thanks to Kervyn the GM and his whole team who were really dedicated , committed and offered excellent customer service and valuation. They did their utmost to make my parents stay memorable and it was. My parents were upgraded to a beach suite with a private pool and that was just the start!. Offered lunch, a bouquet, a surprise wedding anniversary cake, invited for the management cocktail. All in all Trou aux biches team made sure it was a perfect staycation for their anniversary. My parents also really enjoyed the freshness , good quality food with a touch of local flavours at the different restaurants.
