Nice Place to Stay in Troy
Stayed here while attending a 1 Day Training at UWM. Friendly staff throughout the hotel, the front desk staff, our gal that waited on us Tuesday afternoon at the restaurant and can't forget the gal that worked at the bar Tuesday and Wednesday evening! The food at the Crumpets Restaurant was excellent. The elevators can be quite slow when busy.

☆☆☆☆☆ We have been coming here for years. Stevie at reception is exceptional. She always makes our reservations flawlessly. Her personality and outgoingness are one of the reasons we keep coming back to the Somerset Inn. They are very lucky to have someone of her caliber. Also Dee, the server for breakfast is amazing. She cannot do enough for you and always sports a friendly and welcoming smile. What a wonderful establishment to stay in. I only wish I could give the Somerset Inn 6☆s. Bravo.

Good location.
Mediocre hotel. Neat and clean for a quick stop nearby. Front desk was nice. It’s right next to the huge shopping hall nearby in walking distance. We had the breakfast in the hotel which is not bad. We would definitely come again if we have to stop by Troy

A Very Nice Hotel in a Great Location
My wife and I stayed at the Somerset Inn on our recent visit to Michigan. It is right next to the Somerset Collection shopping area. It is conveniently located on Big Beaver Road in the heart of Troy. There are many restaurants around the hotel. The reception desk staff were very very friendly and very professional. This is one of the best experiences with a hotel staff I have had. The housekeeping staff were very good as well. Our room was wonderful; it was very clean. The bathroom had very nice finishes and everything was high quality. The bed was comfortable. The television was large and there was a good selection of channels. The decor in the room was nice and it was warmer and more unique than the sterile cookie-cutter decor of many modern hotels. I highly recommend the Somerset Inn.
