3 night stay. Great room and awesome setting. Incredible grounds. Free nature walk on trail next to hotel was excellent. Only criticism was basically no concierge to provide local info.

We stayed here a couple of years ago for a dream getaway. You cannot beat this resort for beauty and quality for the price. It is beyond beautiful as it was built to align with the natural ecosystem. The rooms are spacious. The showers are to die for. The pool with poolside service is such a luxury. This time we had a bunch of small quirky things which affected our stay but management made it right. They truly care. So consider Lowes Ventana Canyon!

We did an staycation at Lowe’s and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The staff were wonderful and the hotel was gorgeous. However, we were very disappointed to see that we were charged a resort fee for 2 days. Considering we checked in at 4pm on Friday and out at 11 am on Sunday, where was this extra resort day supposed to happen?

Loews Ventana is beautiful, with modern, large, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The pool is great but not large enough for the crowds. The biggest knock is food and drink: Flying V is closed until Feb 2026, and the lobby bar just can’t keep up as the only dinner restaurant - think of people hawking to get a table and/or eating in their laps. Food quality was poor (simple cesar salad was bad), and the coffee bar ran out of espresso (what??). Still a great hard product, and I’d happily stay again when all restaurants are open.

Not all guests arrive on vacation. Some of us come to Tucson suddenly, under difficult circumstances, and I was one of them. I stayed at Loews while dealing with a family crisis, and what stood out most was the hotel’s connection to the local community and the genuine care shown by its staff during a time of hardship. I wasn’t there for the pool or the spa—I was there to support my family. Most notably, Kossi and Jacob, who shuttled me each day so I could visit my loved one, made an enormous difference in my stay. Those shuttle rides were often the only conversations I had all day, and they became something I genuinely looked forward to. Their kindness, warmth, and presence provided comfort when I needed it most. It may seem simple, but knowing that something as small as a daily shuttle ride could offer consistency, humanity, and care meant more to me than I can adequately express. I’m deeply grateful for the compassion shown to me during a very hard time, and I won’t forget it.

The spa is out of this world - best massage ever. Animals are welcome and treated like special guests too!
