The entire trip was fantastic. Felt high end while not too stuffy - which was important as we had small children. Food was all really good, especially breakfast buffet. Tanya was especially great in helping us each morning at breakfast.

After several trips to Playa del Carmen and Tulum over the past few years, Conrad has become our safe place. It’s the kind of hotel you keep going back to because you know exactly what you’re going to get: stunning design, impeccable service, and food that truly makes the trip worth it. And to be completely honest — that all-inclusive concept was never really our thing. Not because there’s anything wrong with it, but because in our experience, it often meant compromising on quality, atmosphere, or that elevated feeling we look for when we travel. We tend to prefer boutique-style luxury, where every detail feels intentional. So yes… I used to think all-inclusive just wasn’t for us. Until this trip. When we discovered that Conrad Tulum offers an All-Inclusive option, we were curious but cautious. Could it really maintain the same level of sophistication we love about the property? Or would it feel like a diluted version of the experience? What we found was something completely different from what we expected. So this time, we decided to change things up and book the All-Inclusive offer we found on the website. I’ll be honest — we hesitated. In the past, we stayed on the regular plan and everything was perfect. We worried this new all-inclusive package might be a red flag — that perhaps service or quality would drop. We’ve always associated all-inclusive stays with anything from a slight to significant loss of exclusivity, lower quality, crowded resorts, or more of a “Cancun-style” party atmosphere. But since we already knew and loved Conrad Tulum, we decided to give it a try. And we’re so glad we did. There’s something incredibly freeing about not thinking about the bill every time you order something. The whole energy of the trip shifts. Everything feels lighter. We enjoyed poolside cocktails, beach snacks, afternoon coffee breaks, room service breakfast, and even late-night room service without that mental pause of “how much is this adding up to?” The minibar is included too, which may sound small, but when you’re traveling with family, it truly makes a difference. The package also allows you to dine at Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya, located right next door, which expands your restaurant options even more. Breakfast at Arbolea continues to be one of our favorites in the area. We always enjoy breakfast on the ocean-view terrace. The food variety is wonderful, and the mini food stations offer a large selection of options. For lunch, we explored the poolside restaurants — beautiful ocean-view palapas with a very authentic Mexican style — serving fresh ceviches, aguachiles, tacos, and vegetarian options as well. We were honestly skeptical about the drinks. Would we still receive fresh juices and premium liquor cocktails? Or would they be syrupy and watered down? Nothing felt watered down or overly sweet. Everything maintained Conrad’s signature quality. When we made our dinner reservations, we learned that Autor was not included. Yes, we were a bit disappointed. Nevertheless, we booked the rest of our dinners and saved one night to enjoy room service instead. What surprised us most was that the quality didn’t change. On our first night, we chose the Asian restaurant almost as a test. To be honest, we assumed there might be a limited menu or special selections for all-inclusive guests, and that premium liquor would cost extra — but that wasn’t the case. We received the same menu. We even double-checked with the server to confirm it was the all-inclusive guest menu, and he assured us it was identical for all guests. Then we thought perhaps the quality would differ — but it didn’t. The presentation was the same, and the flavors were just as beautifully executed as we had experienced before. That immediately put us at ease. Later in the trip, we dined at the Mediterranean restaurant, and once again found the wine and dishes to be at the same high standard, with no changes to the menu whatsoever. I ordered the ravioli, my husband ordered the fish, and the flavors were unbelievable. We also visited Hilton Tulum, and it was interesting to experience the contrast between the two properties. Hilton feels more lively and family-oriented, while Conrad maintains a calmer, more refined atmosphere (more our style). After dinner which was fine, we happily returned to Conrad, as we simply prefer its ambiance. Before booking, we did the math. After returning home, we did it again. The package includes private airport transportation in a comfortable SUV, complete with drinks and snacks for the ride. That alone adds meaningful value. When you factor in premium beverages, dining at both hotels, the minibar, and room service, the price-to-value ratio makes sense. But beyond the numbers, what we appreciated most was the mental ease. Not thinking about extra charges allows you to truly disconnect. Service still felt personal and elevated. We received the same attentiveness, amenities, and lovely turndown gestures that we experienced during our first visit. Those details are what elevate a stay from good to unforgettable. This All-Inclusive offer doesn’t change what makes Conrad Tulum special — it simply makes the experience smoother, easier, and more relaxed. It’s the same elegant hotel, the same outstanding food and service. For us, it was absolutely worth it. I’m almost afraid to say it… but I loved the All-Inclusive — at Conrad Tulum. And yes — we would absolutely book it again.

Had a wonderful time at the conrad! Such a nice resort very pretty. Food was pretty good as well. Roberto was one of our instructors when we did our beach stretch. So kind, fun, and funny. Made us feel like family. He truly made conrad feel like home!

My husband and I ate dinner at Maratea restaurant at The Conrad and had the most amazing evening! Roussel was our waiter and from the moment we sat down he was attentive, warm and enthusiastic about the menu. He made great recommendations and brought us out additional items that he noticed we enjoyed the most and some extra special items for us for our 30th Wedding Anniversary! We had a gorgeous view of the ocean and lush landscaping before the sun set and annoyed decadent course after course until we finished with an incredible chocolate dessert and carajillos! Truly an amazing dining dining experience!!
