This was a perfect family vacation. We were secluded in luxury from the staff, product, amenities, and restaurants. All our needs were met and we never had to leave the resort. The kids club along with the pools/cabanas kept the kids entertained all day long.

Wonderful resort and they offered workouts on the beach. I took a Pilates class w Carlos the first morning we were there. It was challenging yet fun! Would recommend others take the classes that they offer daily.

Great Pilates class on the beach with Carlos! Such a great experience waking up early in the morning and doing a Pilates class. Small group setting right on the water watching the sunrise can’t beat it. Definitely not too hard of a glass but challenging.

This is a review specifically for the kid's club at Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya. Mariana and Ruth were both friendly and very attentive with the kids. My son was happy each time he visited and always asked to go back again every time we left. Excellent customer service and very thoughtful when it comes to caring for the kids.

I genuinely wanted to love the Conrad Riviera Tulum, and in many ways, the staff and physical property shine. The service was, without exception, exemplary—everyone from the bell staff to the servers went above and beyond. The food quality was also generally excellent... until it wasn't. Let's start with the one thing a high-end beach resort needs: a usable beach. It was completely uninhabitable. The sargassum (seaweed) was so thick and overwhelming that even standing near the water was unpleasant, let alone swimming. It was a dealbreaker for a trip centered around the Caribbean sea. However, the real nightmare began when I got severe food poisoning, that came from the resort food given the timeline. I spent a night extremely ill, and the subsequent "care" I received was appalling. I was charged nearly $500 for a brief consultation with the resort doctor and some basic hydration services. This is an extortionate fee for a service that would have cost a fraction—perhaps $20–$30—at a local pharmacy or clinic down the road. The lack of basic empathy from management was astounding. Despite spending thousands on this stay, and getting sick on their property, nothing was comped, reduced, or even acknowledged as a serious issue. I was simply handed the ridiculous bill. To add insult to injury, the doctor’s office refused to accept my American Express card for payment, even though my entire stay, including the original booking, was made using Amex points and I had the physical card present. This forced a scramble for cash and a severely stressful situation while I was still feeling awful. To summarize: • The Good: Great service, generally high-quality food (when it didn't make me sick), beautiful grounds. • The Bad: Unusable, seaweed-choked beach. • The Ugly (and Dealbreaker): Severe food poisoning followed by a predatory, $500 charge for basic first aid that could have been fixed for $30. Zero compassion or compensation from management, and a payment process that was deliberately difficult. You are paying top dollar for a luxury experience, but if anything goes wrong, you're on your own and will be charged an obscene amount for basic care. Skip the Conrad until they address their health and wellness policies and the state of their beach. I left feeling sick, ripped off, and deeply disappointed.
