About the Hotel

In the center of Turin, cradled by Northern Italy's eponymous mountains, NH Collection Turin Piazza Carlina is a gateway to the city's cultural and natural attractions. This hotel, part of the Lifestyle collection by Preferred Hotels & Resorts is warm and inviting, with a color scheme of cream and antique rose. Vibrant hardwood floors and furniture handcrafted by local carpenters lend a modern touch to rooms in this 17th century building, which has a colorful past; it was once home to Antonio Gramsci, co-founder of Italy's Communist Party.

Reviews for NH Collection Turin Piazza Carlina

Wonderful stay, absolutely recommendable hotel

We stayed in Torino for the first time, liked the city a lot and would book this hotel again for sure. Extraordinary style and atmosphere. It's location is perfect to discover the city by walking, the staff is very friendly and caring, our room in the 4th floor with a beautiful view to the court was very nice, the breakfast was great, a lot of tasty things to choose, freshly squeezed orange juice for example.

Wonderful hotel - great service, courtyard, location and more!

There are two NK Collection Torino hotels. I am SO glad we decided to stay at this one. We were so nicely surprised when we checked in and discovered the great court yard (must be nice to be hang out during summer) , the photo exhibits ( including Mapplethorpe and others), the sofas in the wide walkway for people to sit and have a drink or coffee, etc. before you head out in the morning or have a happy hour drink. The breakfast that was included had a decent selection. For people who like deserts, they have a lot of deserts for breakfast. It is close to several different bus lines for you to explore the city and destinations. Short walks to different museums and many restaurants of different price points. The staff there were so patient in answering our questions - shout out to Paolo. MY friend ,who also stayed here, said her impression was NH hotels were usually just a basic business hotel. She was also very nicely surprised.

On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. Took time to walk us through the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, everything was delicious. The location was close to everything we needed to go.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

My recent stay was unfortunately one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. Room Location & Noise Disturbance I was assigned a room directly overlooking the recycling bins. As a result, I was exposed to extremely loud noise from garbage collection trucks—especially glass disposal—which sounded like explosions early in the morning. This was particularly difficult as I had arrived late after a long business trip with minimal rest. In addition, the constant street noise (people, cars, and motorbikes) made it feel as though the entire city of Torino was inside the room, especially given the low floor level. Unprofessional Front Desk Handling The response from the night shift staff (28th April 2026) was disappointing. When I raised my concern, I was told that my room was “not directly above the bins” because it was on the second floor instead of the first—despite the negligible difference in height. This response felt dismissive and unprofessional, particularly as it seems the hotel is aware that some rooms are affected by this issue. Restaurant Service Experience The service at the hotel restaurant was equally disappointing. I waited over 20 minutes and had to request the menu three times without success. Eventually, I left the restaurant and chose to dine outside the hotel. Value for Money Overall, the experience does not justify the price charged. The value for money is simply not there. Location & Surroundings The surrounding area and overall location did not meet expectations relative to the hotel’s pricing. To be fair, the room itself was clean and well-maintained. However, the overall experience, atmosphere, and service left a negative impression. I would not consider staying at this hotel again.
