Booked Raffles with a lot of expectation, but it was not so as fairytale it looks. The experience from the jetty reaching the hotel is lovely. The boat ride and the experience. The check in smooth, for the flower welcome we had to tell them, the room was given on a promise that it's the best view available but the views from other side was breathtaking and we were falsely conveied. No complaints on the room what so ever. It was beautiful and had everything. The food is big downer in the property and needs an improvement. I spoke to a lot of people dining in and a lot of people had the same feedback. The lowest point I felt was the high tea arrangement. We were in Fairmont post this stay, what beautiful high they had. Raffles should learn from Fairmont ( cause same group ) how to do a high tea experience. The Raffles high tea had some cookies, tea + 2 cookies as far as I remember. This shouldn't be a standard of your charging this much. Plus they gave a hash brown, preserved food and I was personally sad seeing that. At the restaurant Yash was the guy who took care of us even when the food was not that great but he made us comfortable every time he saw us. All the F&B guys need a thumps up. They are doing great with the house keeping as well. Our plan had a farewell gift but that never came, our photo's were clicked and they said that we would be getting a photo frame while returning. But that never came. The pool was not operational when we went, it was suppose to buy did't operate cause of some maintanence. Over all a big downer. Never ever suggesting Raffles to anyone in future, it's not value for money what these guys are charging and delivering.

Thank you for amazing hospitality and care, the pool room with cabana was very good and close to the breakfast area. We truly enjoyed our stay. Great gesture by the team and special mention to Ankit and Shubham for everything

We had a lovely stay during our time at the Raffles. It is a beautiful destination, made even more special by the care and attention provided by Laxminarayan. Laxminarayan went out of his way to ensure we were catered for and the service provided by all staff (Nikitha, Siraj) was exceptional. They swiftly dealt with a few issues we had to ensure our experience was not lessened.
