Raffles Udaipur is set on its own private island, lapped by the gentle waters of Udai Sagar Lake and surrounded by the verdant Aravalli Hills. The epitome of opulent style, our spacious rooms and suites are a soothing blend of Indian and European influences with panoramic views of the Baroque garden and the lake. Raffles Udaipur was designed to evoke the look and feel of a grand country estate. The structure of the principal building is inspired by classical European Palladian architecture, featuring domes and high ceilings, and surrounded by beautiful Baroque gardens. Subtle influences from Rajput-Mughal architecture can also be seen in the decorative chhatris and stucco work across the hotel. Local Mewari elements such as jali panels and the iconic Tikri artwork further showcase this stunning blend of two distinct geographies.

Go for a memorable stay - just chill at the property
Two things stand out - warmth of people and the Rajasthani food. And Uday Sagar lake is surrounded on all sides by mountains - beautiful combination of water body and mountain view. Priya gave us a warm welcome - we had our complimentary drink overlooking the lake from the lobby. We were upgraded from Flamingo Signature room to Flamingo room with plunge pool. Thank you. Since the Flamingo room with pool is on ground floor and we could not enjoy the lake view, we requested Priya the next day if we could move back to Flamingo Signature room on a higher floor (original booking) or if possible, to a suite. Priya said yes, we could move the next day to a suite - so we ended up spending the 3rd day in Manor Suite on 3rd floor - awesome views. (Tip - ask for room on the 3rd floor. If you have kids, then opt for the plunge pool - it is a lovely option - just 3 feet deep.) Don't miss the Udaipur Sling at Writers bar - Raffles has come up with Indian version of Singapore sling and it is good. Mayank at Writers bar makes mean cocktails. And is fun to talk to. Kalyani at the Restaurant makes you feel welcome and recommends good dishes. And Vikash, Tarun were around to take good care of you - be it breakfast or dinner. Actually, the entire staff at the restaurant were awesome. Raffles has got it right on this front - it is the people around who make us feel welcome and keep wanting to come back. We took a guided tour around the property in a buggy - Shankar the head gardener showed us around. Don't miss the Aarti in the evening.

We came for wedding function and we really liked hotel staff Hospitality. Priya, Shalu and Nishkriti they all are very helpful and very polite .
