Amazing experience and beautiful stay. Lovely property, its an actual palace converted to hotel and an island in Lake Pichola in Udaipur. The entire staff has been amazing, helpful, going out of the way to customize and make our stay special. We were celebrating pur daughter’s 5th birthday and they arranged a beautiful surprise. The Sous Chef Mr Babu Singh Bhati went out of the way to make our dinner memorable at Jharokha. Alona who served us was always ensuring everything was proper. Thanks Taj Lake Palace for a wonderful memory

Some places you remember for the ambience and food. This one I'll remember for the people. At Jharokha, Ms. Alona looked after us the way only someone who truly loves their work can. Attentive without hovering, warm without being theatrical. She noticed things. Small things. The kind of things that don't appear in any service manual. By the end of the evening she didn't feel like staff, she felt like someone who genuinely wanted our night to be good. Chef Babu's food matched that energy completely. Rooted, honest, quietly spectacular. That food lives in my memory now!! And then there was Ms. Priti, Chief Duty Manager. The moment she learned we had a special occasion, something shifted. She didn't just acknowledge it, she took it personally. The efforts she made, quietly and without any fuss, turned a beautiful stay into something we will carry for a long time. That kind of initiative cannot be taught. It comes from character. The rest of the team carried the same spirit: gracious, unhurried, present. Lake Palace itself is everything the photographs promise. The arches, the lake light, the sense that time has slowed down just for you. It wraps around all of it like a setting holds a stone. Go. You'll understand once you're there.
