Words can fall short but I can’t stop praising about the this palace. From the moment you check in at this palace it’s just magical. Loved how beautiful it’s maintained. Amazing team members. Would like to thank Karan Kohli who helped me get the reservation done so smoothly. Yuvraj from service team, chef team (whom we meet at Neel Kamal) service lady aloma & many more who we meant. Still under the hangover of this place and I am sure it’s never going to get over. Lilly pound was the highlight. Always been the Oberoi fan but this one just changed my views regarding stay in Udaipur . Thank you & can’t wait to come back soon !

Our two-night stay at Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur, was nothing short of extraordinary. This is not just a hotel stay; it is an experience that stays with you long after you leave. We were warmly welcomed by Mr. Naman, who surprised us with an upgrade to the “Sarva Shreshth” room, one of the highest-category suites in the palace. It was a truly wonderful way to begin our stay. Ms. Disha made our check-in exceptionally smooth and followed it up with a wonderful palace tour, giving us a great introduction to this magnificent property. The surprises continued in our room. We received one thoughtful gesture after another — specially crafted chocolates with Taj Lake Palace engravings, an exotic fruit basket, a celebration cake, a bottle of house wine, roasted dry fruits, and even specially prepared Janmashtami Panjeeri. The list seemed endless, and every detail reflected genuine thoughtfulness rather than a standard hotel welcome. Day one was equally memorable. We took a boat ride on Lake Pichola and watched a spectacular sunset at Jag Mandir, one of the most iconic locations in Udaipur and famously associated with grand destination weddings. We then returned to the palace for the evening folk music and dance performance at Aangan Jhankaar. The combination of the music, dance, heritage setting, and atmosphere was magical. This is definitely an experience not to be missed when staying at the Lake Palace. For our first dinner, we chose Jharokha, beautifully located with stunning views of Lake Pichola and Taj Fateh Prakash Palace. The setting was spectacular, and the food lived up to it. The presentation was beautiful, and the Tiramisu deserves a special mention — both its presentation and taste were outstanding. The following morning, we enjoyed breakfast at Jharokha, with its beautiful views and serene surroundings. What made the morning even more special was the live flute music being played on the rooftop. The soulful music carried beautifully across the palace and could be enjoyed not only from Jharokha but also from the garden. It was one of those simple yet magical moments that perfectly captures the charm and tranquillity of Taj Lake Palace. The highlight of our second evening was dinner at Neel Kamal, the palace's speciality Rajasthani restaurant. We opted for the vegetarian thali, and it was truly a lifetime culinary experience. The variety, flavours, presentation, and attention to detail beautifully showcased Rajasthan's rich culinary heritage. What made the experience even more special was how sincerely the team accommodated all our personalisation requests. Chef Anop, Ms. Nirjala and Mr. Yuvraj deserve a special mention for taking our requests to heart and making our dinner such a wonderful experience. As a Taj Platinum member, I have had the privilege of experiencing hospitality at several Taj properties, and Taj Lake Palace stands apart in a very special way. The combination of its extraordinary location, heritage, impeccable service, personalised touches, and exceptional dining makes it truly iconic. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Naman, Ms. Disha, Chef Anop, Ms. Nirjala, Mr Yuvraj and the entire Taj Lake Palace team for making our two-night stay and celebration so incredibly memorable. Taj Lake Palace is more than a place to stay — it is a place to create memories. We will cherish this experience for a very long time.

A splendid stay at the Taj Lake Palace. The setting is regal, the lake views are mesmerizing. The food, service and hospitality were incredible. While everyone from top to bottom was invested in extending excellent service, we would like to specially mention Restaurant Manager Pramod Narayanan and Kiran in the Front Office for making our stay so memorable.
